NBL is also available on streaming. THose numbers really show the basketball mob having all left never came back.
I doubt basketball ever rated that well on Foxtel but it must have been better than that.
NRL and AFL with so many games on free to air are overated as a sporting subscription attraction as well or else the combination would have mean more basketball watchers who would like one of AFL/NRL and the few NBA games they show.
I suspect Foxtel will be in for a very rude awakening if they don;t improve their football offering with the Eurosnobs they will leave en masse, and their NRL and AFL ratings will nosedive. A-league and Socceroos if they replace the EPl with something else much less likely to leave, however is also twice as crucial lose those two and they would be finished.
