My 2015 started off really good, got promoted and I was loving my job. Come March I get the news that my department is being shifted down to Geelong and that I'll be out of a job in July. Struggled with depression for a bit as it was the only real job I've actually enjoyed. Managed to get a better paying job a couple of weeks before my contract was up but the work wasn't as fun and the culture of the place is pretty crap. Graduated from uni at the end of July and had an amazing trip to Japan in August which was probably one of the highlights of my year. Just got permanency at my current job which is a big relief but I do want to find another position hopefully in my field of study.

- Smashed year 12 (top 1% of state) - made a bunch of new friends - found a nice grill - lost my virginity
All in all, a pretty sweet year.

I returned home, relaxed, didn't fail any subjects at uni and finally had my surgery done.

Not bad. Graduated Uni. Looking forward to the next year. Will be going overseas for a month. Started a 3-year plan with the missus, hoping to spend 2 years in the UK and Europe by then. :)

Followed a Bundesliga team with the fewest points across the 3 professional leagues across the country.
Had my exhaustion and anxiety put down to low vitamin D. Boosted the levels and feel completely better. Had a small hernia discovered but repair is still very unnecessary. Wait and see. Stress levels still higher than I'd like but it sinks and rockets.
Got accepted for permanent residency in Germany but still need forms to go through.
Got rid of a few annoying groups I teach and have a high percentage of enjoyable ones.
Visited UK, NYC, Australia and numerous away matches.
Probably need to be a bit more social. Just buggered after work and want my peace. Didn't really exercise and binged on the snacks.
All in all probably a 6/10.

One of the worst years ever. Ill start with the good things. Got to see my favourite band live. Went to Edinburgh with my Mum. Bought a bunch of Lego sets. Getting to spend my first full year with my cousins in the UK. New experience for me.
Now the not so good. Have had no luck finding a good job. Am stuck in a boring stressful frustrating retail job which I hate, and in which the people are not exactly the nicest. Assistant manager is a real pain. Have filled out more than 120 applications for a job in my field, had two interviews, and the rest either didn't respond or rejected me at the application stage. One of my interviews I got through to the end and was told I would get the job, only to find out that I did in fact not get the job, and the worst part was that no one emailed or called to tell me. It took me a week of trying to follow up to find out what happened. Am halfway across the world from my parents, my brother and his wife (and their baby who was born just after i left australia). I also stay about three hours from my sister and her husband (and their baby also born around the same time), so essentially far away from any family and missing out on my nieces growing up. Lost my friendship with probably the only person who has actually been my friend, and now trying to fix it is not going extremely well. My health took a beating. Struggling with depression. Felt so alone at time that suicide even crossed my mind. Have felt rather alone for most of 2015, and this moment right now I am sitting in my room alone, after trying to plan something for this evening with everyone and have had not one single response, and its now 10pm and I have work tomorrow.
So all in all, hopefully 2016 can only get better.
