What did we all thought in how the Joeys went?

The FIFA Technical Report which I thought was quite detailed, implied Australia played better than I evaluated them. Then again, I was appraising Australia closely and not the opposition.

The FIFA Technical Report that was far better than previous FIFA evaluations was:

* Patient build up from the back through the midfield.

* Assured combination play.

In the past FIFA highlighted strengths being mental strength and athleticism

I already posted it on the youth team thread but here is what they said about Australia.

Quote:
The info about the Joeys is interesting, the points they mention it kind of relates to what we identified with the team, except we all thought we had issues with ball retention but also surprisingly they thought we were physically ok

The Key points they identified with us where:

•   Patient build-up play from the back through the midfield
•   Assured combination play
•   Strong, hard-working players
•   Excellent team spirit
•   Disciplined, well-organised defence
•   Aerial strength used effectively at set pieces in defence
•   Aerial dominance in defence

They also identified who were our key players, or the players they were impressed with.(Some of them we didn't expect to be on the list its good we had 3 in their though)

Key players

10 HOPE Joshua:
•   pacy attacking midfielder with excellent dribbling skills and good passes

5 BANDERA Jackson:
•   hard-working left-back with good attacking runs and crosses

17 PANETTA Nicholas:
•   pacy left-sided attacker with excellent technique and good runs

Aus is on page 160-161
