At least Japan find a way to win their games. As for Australia, we still lack that confidence to be able to finish off easier teams.. This pops it's head up in the Senior team as well, which raises even more questions about probably the coaching more than anything Qatar are killing it. 3 goals DF ABDELKARIM HASSAN left back :) top scorer of tournament. This guy wants goals ! 3 goals also in a first half hat-trick Kwon Chang-hoon for south korea.. sheez Edited by highkick05: 17/1/2016 04:03:11 PM

Out of looking at the highlights of the games, South Korea and Qatar look to be the most impressive, Japan and Iraq are also contenders if they go far in the tournament.

They had the Asian Cup at home too but no takers, granted, the senior national team players might be asking more. There are a few names in the Kyrgyz team I'd have loved to pick up as our +1 at Victory.

Have to say this being played pretty intense .. crowds aren't half bad either
China has looked impressive Finished 3-1 to Qatar
2 goals to - DF ABDELKARIM HASSAN (C) 65, 72 minute.
Edited by highkick05: 13/1/2016 07:26:48 PM Yeah caught some of it - Was going for China. I guess they tried hard and were even a little dirty at times with the challenges, Qatar hardly innocent either, but they just didn't have enough for I guess the more athletic Qatari side. The Qataris only got back into it mid second-half and late game, as the Chinese faded and after the second goal, they were just deflated. China squandered a great chance or two, but Qatar squandered even more earlier. That Free-Kick from the Chinese player was genuine quality though, as too the second goal from the Qatari player, cutting inside left and firing a thunderbolt from outside the box. They looked quite technical CHina, surprised they lost, a lot of good interplay early in the game. Goals must have ripped them good. I haven't seen the goals but that A. Hassan is very good, not sure about the rest of the team, but he's represented Qatar @ Senior level pretty sure. Qatar and I'm pretty sure most the Arab teams are pretty good when they can get their forward attack momentum / counter attack game working for them. This would have made sense against China who were trying to play the 1-2-3 game around the box, a bit like Australia when the midfield / defense starts tiring and sucker punches become easier. We really need to be aware of this for this U23 championships

Take your pick but the first one should be ok viewing Guys, if you are to check out some games, check out any of those I bolded. The Winners and Runners-Up of our Group (Group D), will face the Runners-Up and Winners of Group C. The bolded games are the Group C games and it's highly likely that it will be between SK, Iraq and the Uzbeks - South Korea surely top and a battle between the other two for second. If we top our group then our opponents will likely be Iraq or the Uzbeks. So may be worth some scouting to assess the quality we may have to face in the Round of 16, if we get that far (Which we must). The Uzbeks could be a dark-horse to even South Korea, as some of their recent youth teams have really given our YTs quite a thumping, like the Uzbek U17s gen who thumped Tombides' Joeys generation at the U17 WC and similar happened to another Joeys or Young Socceroos team, a couple of generations later. Surely some of those talents are about this Olympic team. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_FIFA_U-17_World_Cup#Knockout_stagehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_FIFA_U-17_World_Cup_squads#.C2.A0Uzbekistan
