The Big Blue will look worse than that Nux v Victory game from earlier this season...

I don't have a problem with this at all. I would have thought a return to a black jersey would have been better but such is life. This is in response to be told that Melbourne City will wear a more sky blue home jersey next season.

But it defeats the purpose of a 'change kit' if the second kit is the same colour scheme, only darker, as the first kit. FFA should overrule this design proposal and force them to have a distinct second kit - making a mockery of the league over such a nothing issue.

Jokes aside, it is a bit of an overreaction.
Teams have alternate strips for a reason. If both Sydney and City have sky blue home jerseys, means they won't be wearing the same jersey when they play as they'll be wearing their alternates.
Hell, go for a third strip for these clashes. Make money off it.

Hell, go for a third strip for these clashes. Make money off it. Exactly. The away kit just needs to be different colour from the home kit. Ideally though you would choose a colour different to any other home kits from clubs in the league but this is not always what happens and is the reason why clubs produce third kits. I don't think its the end of the world. Different teams don't own exclusive rights to the colours they where. If that was the case half the clubs in the UK will be looking to replace claret and blue :P

Fluro orange ftw. Nobody would buy a navy away kit, for obvious reasons.

Makes sense to me. We are blue. We should wear another blue away.
Perhaps we could wear a fluoro yellow vomit coloured kit instead?

The reasoning makes me want to fucking hurl. Because Manchester Melbourne City are moving to a Sky Blue kit. Go get fucked. Seriously.
