So Ive just started FUT properly for the first time. after opening about 10 packs i have a few decent guys to build a squad around

any tips on constucting a decent squad? what does the chemistry actually do? how does it affect players?


also - how the fuck are you supposed to win on world class. it's just nasty. it's like playing every game 'away'. good players are shit. the fut team seems to get worn out quick and there are always injuries.

in a single free pack...

Make sure you use the coin boosters you can get in the EA FC Catalogue. Helps build the bank up heaps.

With the ball - just keep moving the ball around. Pass sideways and backwards - just keep passing.

Without the ball - don't chase it, and don't dive in, trust your keeper a lot and force them to take shots from outside the box.

I only play on world class, win more than I lose - not perfect - but I'm an old c*nt with slow reflexes, so young'uns shouldn't have too much trouble.

You need to make two different XIs. Put one on the bench and in another squad swap them around. This allows you to give one team a rest and so you don't have to use stamina cards.

He always has his tactics set to high pressure and I've got mine set to counter attack.

all of them are from packs except weidenfeller who i bought for 350 just for the chemistry. i have 3 other keepers over 80.

ea were given away a free premium gold pack every day last week. i cleaned up.

im keen to give you guys a run online. i play it on ps3. ziggtron - look me up.

im pretty shit online, although i did smash some toss with a full CCM kit the other day who had clearly bought epically - it was a real madrid/chelsea/munich 11 with 100 chemistry. my best win. i thought it meant i was ready for online draft. i got done 5-1. although i did improve. the last 60 mins was 1-1.

im finding coins hard to come by - ive been spending them as they come in while all the fifa birthday promos have been on.

how do you get enough to buy players? ive used up pretty much all the fcc bonus coins.

I have about 120 players in my club all up, and have made up around 7-8 squads based on nationality and league they play in.

Spent all my saved pennies last night and have some drastic changes to my first 11.

playing online is bullshit. 3 games tonight i dominated play each time and still got done.

fark i want to smash something.

just the finishing is killing me. im getting 10-15 shots on goal and they are get a handful but scoring.

im really pissed with the fut.

saved up 30000 coins - as you know it takes fkn forever. got tempted by a promo pack 25000 gold player with 3 rares. sounds good right? no one over 80. i put the whole lot on the market and i will be lucky to get 6000 back.

what a load of fkn shit. not one player made my squad.


--also-- you can pretty clearly see that people are working their way through players buying up anyone that's half decent in bulk and setting higher prices on them...

This is why I can't get into FUT. Just seems loaded toward those stupid enough to pay money for extra points.

I just stick with career mode. Which is still annoyingly shit in places - but at least it doesn't cost anything extra.

i was a bit dumb with coins when i started because i didnt realise how hard they would be to get a hold of. but if you pick up the free packs when they are there and save your pennies it could work.

ive got a decent team coming together now and havent spent extra money. muller, lewandwski, mertesacker, xabi alonso, kagawa, oscar, candreva, javi matinez, the gk leno and leckie playing lb. it's working out ok. just the packs are shit house.

im getting into the long haul for savings now - i want aubameyang and boateng next.

Last time I tried FUT (first week I had FIFA16) I found myself just trying to assemble the same team I last had on Career Mode... Then decided I may as well go back to career mode.

Few changes to my starting 11 since my last post.

did you pick them up in packs?

Not really, A lot of transfer market stuff. Giroud, Terry, Anrnautavic were packs. My bench and reserve squad have mainly come from packs. Picked up the special one as a manger in a pack. Pick up a lot of good contracts in packs too.

ive starting to hoard some managers. you get a percentage increase on contracts with managers that are gold and gold/silver rare - and they add up. i just bid on 150's and so far i get a 15% bump on every contract added to a player. worth it considering how contracts kind of cost a bit.

leckie as a LB

he is a revelation.. if you have a bundesliga team you should give it a run. easily the best leftback i have ever used.

i converted him to a LM and gave him a chemistry card that bumps his dribbling and defence. he can chase down almost anyone and carries the ball forward and attacks amazingly. he is carving up against much better teams.

i just picked up a possibly my best online goal with him against an all star PL team who was quite difficult. slide tackle on the edge of my box to pick up the ball returned through the centre of the pitch weaving sensationally shoots from the lip of their box and puts it in the corner against courtois. gets a 9.0 for the game.

I'm slowly building my reserve squad into a Bundesliga team. I'll give it a go.

it's worth it to have an australian on the pitch. the difference between him and someone you would spend a fortune on is marginal.

Next up i'll make an all A-League 3rds squad to use in bronze tourneys.

that's an idea. you could put together a decent all australian silver as well. ive picked up no hal players - only 3 aussies - luongo on loan, antonis from a pack and i 'headhunted' leckie for my bl team.

the EA servers dropped out today when I was playing and I my online season lost 1 game and I got a notification that my completion multiplier was affected

anyone know if it's possible to get that fixed?

fwiw i tried to solve the issue was given the contact number for EA ANZ. I called and they seemed pretty friendly and helpful - although I am not convinced that "rhett" understood me very well. i am waiting to see the outcome...

it's not really like other games anymore where you just wear a glitch and suck it up. people put a lot of money into the FUT shit. you should see some of the squads I play online - there is nooooooooooooo way they get those squads from collecting coins playing.

solid line ups.. you must have had a fair bit of coin in the bank?

daley blind is a great player. strips the ball fairly easily carries it well and can pass. his shooting is his only let down. im having a hard time replacing him in my PL squad with higher value players.

I've got a shit load of contracts from packs and rewards then I buy the players cheap with little contract left in market then chuck a 20 game contract on them.

do people actually pay more for the extra contract? you can buy them for cheap and do it anyway cant you?

after 3 weeks from my first FUT game and a lot of wasted life (151 games) i have my squad settled and have just been promoted to division 6.

the best player i have come up against had an all japan/korea team. they had absolute control over everything. i got whipped by 5 goals.

just made it into division 5.

gave it a rest for a week and came back and won 3 on the trot to take the div 5 title. convincing wins. something like 4-2 4-1 and 3-1.

some players are pull some shit. you get ahead and they just refuse to play. tantrums. ive also has some dirty bastard get a lucky goal to go 1 up when i was dominating the game and clearly going to win and then he dropped out and i got a loss.

i was about to replace kagawa but he has been really good. probably better than bellarabi because of his dribbling. im going to hold off on transfers and save for a big gun.
