Australia shouldn't lose players to denmark. Bare minimum the A-league should look to be the equivalent of such a league

In Denmark there is an "artist" tax for foreigners. Footballers are classed as artists under the wording. This is for 3 years and players pay 25% tax on their wage. Plus

That was from the end of 2014. The cap hasnt risen. Perhaps the average Danish wage has.

Did I not hear the commentators say there were scouts in the crowd from the Danish league, as they said it up popped Petratros with a goal and an assist - maybe they'll think he's worth also

I recalled your comment. I reckon someone read your comment and made up an article  I know he turned down PAOK after his first season at the Roar to payback Mulvey's faith in him.

Danish League may not be that much better than the A-League, but it's an easier pathway to bigger and better things in Europe.

What is all of a sudden with The Danes and Aussies... There has been talk of Risdon going over there, Mario Shabow, Western Sydney youth player and now Petratos? already mixed in the last year with Amini, Duncan and Mabil already there do they see the A-League as a feeder to their League?? It's not a bad thing as Azza mentioned above it can lead to bigger and better things, if not well then they have the comfort to come back to the A-league!

-PB Doubt theyd offer much but alongside JMac is probably in the top 3 Aussies in the league this season with Mooy. Kid has slimmed down a heap and improved out of sight. Would actually b disappointed to see him go.

If you win any silverware you make ACL but then you run the risk of losing your good players that got you there in the off season. Either way I'm sure JA would be able to recruit pretty well considering his connections. -PB

StiflersMom wrote:Heineken wrote:Sydney FC #product. lol, who dumped him And deservedly so, however good he has become, he was seriously regressing over time at Sydney, and in a squad of 23, you don't have time for young players going backwards.
