Kewell was the bigger talent imo. Son will achieve more over his career though as he doesn't face the same issues with his body (as of yet). 

I don't think he's underrated at all, just overshadowed by Kane.

In terms of players ability, I don't know how you can rate Cahill above Son and Kewell. Both much better players than he ever was. 

Correct, Kewell was a superstar, Son has flown majorly under the radar. 

I rate the guy believe me but when you overdo step overs over step overs in some games (he didn't the other night for a change and really counted in that game) its such a wank. As much as ronaldo is the no1 wank he's backed it up hugely sadly but son will never get to his levels but keeping it simple he'll get more admiration from neutrals.

Son is a good player no doubt, but when Harry left Leeds he had Man U, Barca and AC Milan interested, which were the top clubs from England, Spain and Italy at the time. Son is not at that level yet.

Boyle shouldn't be playing for Australia.

The national side is a representation of the nation and of us as a people.   A bloke not born here, who has never put foot in Australia until last week, should never have been selected.  I don't care what other countries do and I don't care how good he is.  (And he was excellent last night.)

son's even better this past year. imo a more complete player than kewell.  the video below starts with a nice kewellesque goal by son.  

kewell had 45 goals in 181 matches for leeds 0.25 gpm
12  goals in 93 appearances for liverpool  0.13  gpm

son has 38 goals in 118 for tottenham  0.32 gpm
and 21 goals in 62 matches for leverkusen  0.33 gpm

I still stand by my original comments. The Liverpool period for Kewell was more a less a write-off and I believe he spent a fair bit of time injured at Leeds too? (I could be wrong on that one). 

Problem with injuries is that it takes time to return to form, which skews stats somewhat. 

son has stepped it up even more this year. imo there is daylight between kewell and son now. he's..... sonsational

Goals to games played is only logical comparing striker to striker to me.
Son has played many games in the middle off Kane whereas HK played most games LW/I hardly recall him playing a 10 role in the EPL.......
So HK's goals is pretty darn good if your talking goals And my other thought is the ages when "shining".
I'm in China can't look up HK's age making the impact at Leeds ? compared to Son's age.
I rate Son he's darn good, how can you say Son has stepped up pre Mourinho for Spurs have been woeful this season and he hasn't ShON much at all.

Son is playing great, that was a brilliant goal against Burnley , but at the same age, 27, Kewell has been crocked for a couple of seasons and it was clear he would never be the same again. 2 years later he was out of the EPL, never to return until he was on the sidelines of a League 2 team over a decade later (hold on, I need a tissue....)

Son will obviously have a better career, but Harry played about what, 40% of what he could have at his best if not for Liverpool’s medical staff?

you can compare. talent is empty if it's not used, whatever the excuse. 

 imo the best of son is equal if not better than kewell.   son is more consistent and scores more goals. he's a better team player as well.
