+x+x+xSay this every Olympics but I wish just once a telecaster would put together a highlights show that shows all the events for the day. Who won what where and when. You know, updates on the pool matches in the volleyball, the men's football, the archery, the water polo etc etc. I don't even know who is in the men's football tournament. I don't even care if they put it on at 11pm at night. It'd just be nice to know what else is happening besides the friggin swimming and the equestrian. (Mind you with 3 channels it's miles better than what it was in the past.) The best coverage was a few olympics ago when 7, or whoever, covered all the popular Australian stuff (75% of the Olympics) and SBS got to cover the rest of the not so popular stuff. IE handball, indoor volleyball, judo, weightlifting, soccer etc. Bring that back. Absolutely loving BBC coverage. Eight dedicated channels plus you can watch every single event live or on replay online. They also have a highlights show every morning that shows all the important results from the night before and recaps everything for you. For the ignorant (when it comes to this VPN caper) can someone please recommend a provider or explain how it works. (And the costs.) Happy to pay. If you use Chrome, you can download a fair few free ones from the Chrome store.

I installed it and after about 5 minutes uninstalled it because it was rubbish. I paid for a VPN called NORDVPN and watched the mens 7's until about 2am on the BBC's coverage. Brilliant. Thank you Mr Jules. I would have taken you up on your offer except I did all of this at 11pm last night so PM's etc were probably out of the question. Anyway I'll see how I go. I'm on a month to month and post Olympics I may ditch it in any case and get something better if I'm not happy with it. Pleasantly surprised to see the Boomers in front of the US when I woke up this morning but we've led in Olympics past until America goes 'fuck this' and puts the hammer down.

Boomers could have gone a lot closer but missed a lot of basic baskets. Quite a few from inside the key too.
Didn't watch all of it so maybe the US were in 2nd gear the whole game. Will be interesting to meet them again.
Australia back to their digs at the village, the US back to the Love boat.

Hell of an effort by the Boomers. When you think about what there is still to come into this side it's hard not to be excited for the future, let alone this tournament.

Yeah iplayer doesn't really work for me either though I can download shows using their downloader app. I've found CBC better as our links west coast North America are more direct.

What a race from Kyle Chalmers!!!! So sorry for Cam McEvoy. He will not be happy with how he did. But he can bounce back and win an Olympic gold medal in this event. And he's a genius with a promising physics career, too.
Still how about they way they reacted. Cam- really humble in defeat. Kyle- cool as cucumber.
You'd think it was somebody telling him what was being served for lunch.

Show me some Euro-handball that game is awesome.

The handball crowds are awesome, the handball itself not so much. IMO. Blokes standing in a semi circle and 8 blokes passing it around in the back court. Yeah / nah.

Went to a game in Germany as my good friends father was involved with the top-league team Frisch Auf Goppingen. The atmosphere is out of control. Wouldn't want to ref one of those games. It can be boring as hell but the game i watched there was a goal every 30-40 seconds.
