+x@ bigpoppa It's a funny world we live in, it's easy to make the fake look real on-line lol; but Roar say they're doing something a bit radical with their kits this year which could mean anything, including stripes, Hull City played in black/orange stripes last season and it wouldn't be a stretch for Roar to go there tbh but probably more like City than this image Just make the black stripes about double width and it will improve a lot

+xerr, bigpoppa - I think you'll find the post is a prank. The clue lies in there being no club badge, no sponsors logo and the fact Roar have announced they will launch next seasons kit at a fan day at Ballymore lol Pretty easy to spot, just opening the image reveals the truth from the name of the image, poor effort. umbro-hull-city-14-15-home-kit

My favourite thread on the forums <3
Waz, that sounds interesting. As a self professed kit nerd, I'm much looking forward to a new take on our kits. I haven't been a huge fan of the last two home jerseys because I feel they've been a bit plain, but this sounds good!

+x+x+x+x+x+xThe pattern in the Glory anniversary shirt looks really weird. I don't really like the look of the Macron kits, im not sure what they are like on the back, but to look at they look poor quality, and the design of most of their shirts leaves a lot to be desired. Also don't see how the jets having a sponsor with foreign wording has anything to do with the NCIP. Unless of course they start changing the logo and name and other parts of the clubs identity to be Chinese. A sponsor is a sponsor, has nothing to do with the clubs identity. Or are you implying there should be no foreign companies as sponsors? In that case we will probably need to fold the league as we won't have the financial backing to field a comp anymore.
NATIONAL CLUB IDENTITY POLICY 4. USE, ADVERTISEMENT AND PROMOTION OF IDENTIFIERS 4.1 A Club must not use, advertise or promote (or permit any otherperson or entity to use, advertise or promote) any ethnic, national, racial, religious or political connotations, signifiers or associations in connection or association with the Club. 4.2 A Club must ensure that itsPlayers and Officials do not use, advertise or promote any ethnic, national, racial, religious or political connotations, signifiers or associations inconnection or association with the Club. 4.3 It will not be a breach ofclause 4.1 or 4.2 if the relevant use, advertising or promotion is thepromotion of a Club Sponsor pursuant to obligations contained in a SponsorshipAgreement. 4.4 It will not be a breachof clause 4.1 or 4.2 if where the relevant use, advertising or promotion is ofa Club Name, logo or emblem that has been approved in accordance with clause 3and such approval has not been revoked. BTW your username fails theNCIP LOL. Refer to 4.3 and you'll see why a sponsor with foreign language isn't a problem. Again unless they change the club name, or logo its not a breach. 4.3 It will not be a breach ofclause 4.1 or 4.2 if the relevant use, advertising or promotion is thepromotion of a Club Sponsor pursuant to obligations contained in a SponsorshipAgreement. And ffa blocked mkfc for using a sponsor written in English. Then we have mcfc sporting a crucifix in their logo and its ok.... if it were a crecsent and star? Im just pointing out the hypocrisy..not to mention its morally questionable...the fact that the rule even exists is an abomination and an ode to our white Australia past. Anyway Im on record saying i wanted a mvfc acl strip w the chinese sponsor. I dig the jets kit. The Melbourne Knights sponsor was under a slightly different ruling. If memory serves me correct they wanted a different sponsor for the FFA Cup, and under the rules it couldn't be changed for some reason just for the FFA Cup (that is, it had to already be a club sponsor or the like). FFA statement “only approve a Club’s Playing Strip as it appeared in their Member Federation 2014 league or cup competition, at the time of qualification to the Westfield FFA Cup 2014.” Reporting by the Melbourne Knights suggests that the FFA did this because their sponsor didn't contravene the NCIP. Also the NCIP does not make any mention that the sponsor can not be another language than English. That is restricted to the clubs name and motto. The official wording the FFA gave for the MK scenario was that no teams could change their kit for the FFA Cup, and that the kit had to be the one they used during their regular season. Which was horseshit because Brisbane Strikers for one example changed their kit completely for the Cup that year, as well as countless others since. See the below from the NCIP, I fail to see how another language other than English is allowed on a kit according to the NCIP: 4. USE, ADVERTISEMENT AND PROMOTION OF IDENTIFIERS4.1 A Club must not use, advertise or promote (or permit any otherperson or entity to use, advertise or promote) any ethnic, national, racial, religious or political connotations, signifiers or associations in connection or association with the Club. As well as teams using new kits/ sponsors in the ACL every season

+xI'm not sure.It was just a Tinkler thing to mirror the Knights right? Which the club wanted to move away from I think.I'm not sure how Jets fans feel. The emerald cinnamon got a lot of love iirc. Pretty much, though blue and red are predominant on the crest. I really liked their gold away strip last year. I'd like to see a return to that.

+xWhat are Jets going to do?I have said before I think their keeper kit would look good for the whole team.Or perhaps something like Helsingborg red blue redI just don't dig the blue one It still doesn't feel like Jets have landed on their colours/kit combination. I did like this one. Maybe with red socks though.

No worries. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Just curious whether we'll see some rolled out for FFA Cup matches.
From memory City wore their latest red version in FFA Cup last year.

Normally they role them out at random times each year. Often first team kit first and second team later, July is when it normally starts

Is this the year city change to majority sky blue?

I want Macron to do a Lazio style kit for Perth. Real simple. Same collar and style as Lazio but with purple and orange trim.

Roar say they're doing something a little radical with the kit this year, whether that means Black n Orange instead of Orange n black or something genuinely different we wait to see ... style clues normally appear in the European kits that tend to get released first though
