+xNo comment Yellow is looking the best kit of the lot, even with the swan neck thing. The less said about the two purple ones the better.

What's the thought process behind having two purple kits? Seems a bit redundant

+xWhat's the thought process behind having two purple kits? Seems a bit redundant +xWhy not have an orange kit? Because it's a one off strip for the first game. A heritage strip. It's a remake of the first kit in 96. They're not wearing it again after the first game.

I had this on pre-order. I hope it grows on me. Maybe would have looked better if the strip actually had stripes like the original strip rather than two...panels??

The pattern in the Glory anniversary shirt looks really weird. I don't really like the look of the Macron kits, im not sure what they are like on the back, but to look at they look poor quality, and the design of most of their shirts leaves a lot to be desired.
Also don't see how the jets having a sponsor with foreign wording has anything to do with the NCIP. Unless of course they start changing the logo and name and other parts of the clubs identity to be Chinese. A sponsor is a sponsor, has nothing to do with the clubs identity. Or are you implying there should be no foreign companies as sponsors? In that case we will probably need to fold the league as we won't have the financial backing to field a comp anymore.

I actually really like the Glory heritage stop. Let's be honest, the original was pretty ugly but it's lovable and carries with it a lot of fond memories, so it's remake didn't have much room to move. But I think the new one blends the old with the new really well. Will definitely pick one up.

I'm so glad I didn't pre order the Glory heritage shirt. There is too much going on. Still love the home and away kit even with the away kit swan neckline.

And ffa blocked mkfc for using a sponsor written in English. Then we have mcfc sporting a crucifix in their logo and its ok.... if it were a crecsent and star? Im just pointing out the hypocrisy..not to mention its morally questionable...the fact that the rule even exists is an abomination and an ode to our white Australia past. Anyway Im on record saying i wanted a mvfc acl strip w the chinese sponsor. I dig the jets kit.

Problem is a few years ago the FFA blocked a company or social club titled .".. Croatia" from sponsoring the Melbourne Knights. It was a big deal. I do remember that. I also agree that on a semiprofessional level things like ethnically tied social clubs should be able to be a club or a sponsor or whatever, i don't think there should be restrictions on that. However in relation to the Ledman logo containing their name in another language, well that is an entirely different situation than the example you have provided. If it was Ledman chinese social club or something then id see the similarity.

I don't think it has anything to do with race though like you've suggested. It simply has to do with trying to bring more people into the football family by making all clubs inclusive of all cultures so that they feel more comfortable playing for or supporting a team. Really its pretty simple logic.

Why is this the third kit? It looks so good. Only thing I would change is the club emblem to red only It is still handsome with the correct emblem.

I agree that 4.3 is why the Jerks can get away with the Chinese writing - but the precedent was set by the Melbourne Knights ordeal IMO and there is exactly zero difference between the two examples. But what we've learnt is the NCIP doesn't target every ethnicity & religion - it is solely the balkans. This is seen by the FFA allowing & promoting some Shamrock Rovers Irish club, allowing Hakoah to update their logo yet still include the Star of David in it, etc. It's only when a club is tied with something Balkan that the NCIP comes into effect.

That jersey is very cool. As for the Chinese sponsor and German kit maker, that is globalisation at work. Almost everyone has international sponsors and kit suppliers. The Nix used to be sponsored by Sony who is Japanese. Melbourne Victory used to be sponsored by Samsung who are Korean while Sydney FC used to be sponsored by JVC who are also Japanese. While the whole league for a long time had a multinational kit supplier in Reebok who started out life as a company from the UK.
