Adelaide United grand final hero Bruce Kamau has back out of a verbal agreement with the club and will join Melbourne City next season.

The flying right-winger is understood to have signed a multi-year contract with the Melbourne side prior to scoring the opening goal for the Reds as they lifted the A-League championship for the first time.

The architect behind the signing is former Adelaide United boss, Michael Petrillo — now acting as Football Director of Melbourne City.

Would be a shame.

Considering he's an Adelaide local & starting in a championship winning side he should stay and expose himself in the ACL next year.

Im not sure if its a legit rumour but it looks like Kamau is about to move to Melbourne City.

Kind of disappointing if you're a adelaide fan



Also rumours of Garrucio, Marino and Jacob Melling moving to Adelaide United whilst young socceroo Brandon Wilson looks like he will sign with Perth Glory

Thoughts Kamau poor move and will regret it . On players mentioned speaking to Amor no midfielders happy with the group he has. Requires wingers and a Defender, and Striker. On his holidays in Spain he will scout.
