I still dont think you can train a player with out static drills.

The best practice is the child practising on its own, SAP or static how much the child can be good at football is based on their own work with the ball.

yep
but i just watched a group of players who cant pass the ball properly ie stance, position of standing foot and reach trying to do a practice with stress on first touch and scanning. no hope imo

any decent kid that is motivated will practice on their own with a ball and a wall.

i can see now why private academes are producing players of a better quality.

In the very early stages of learning there has to be some emphasis on static work such as passing IMO. Even working on the hand eye coordination with volleys and thigh control.

Can all be incorporated into your warm up

remember the sap program is a 3 stage session1 technique (unopposed)2 skill (opposed) and 3 game
you could spend longer on stage 1 for instance if you felt that what is required for your players.
