Did you play with the computer assisted teammate or control both?

I always controlled both and never understood people who played it differently!!!!

Haha I got my megadrive with that game pretty much explicitly to play it!

Computer assisted was how the arcade was so I usually played it that way. They AI did dumb stuff but I hardly ever passed anyway

Yeah that's why I never liked the arcade version anywhere near as much
Was playing an emulator of it recently and was told it was me doing it the wrong way [-( [-( [-(

Hmmm I think you're right about the soccer game too

Watching a bit of that ninja turtles video made me so nostalgic
I love the warning at the start aha target audience

You won't see anyone touching the machines now, graphics are poor and the driving is poor too, even compared to a game like Mario Kart.

The basketball game, where you physically had to shoot hoops was another game played regularly at an arcade. Air hockey too.

I remember one year I was meant to buy a mothers day present with my money I earned washing cars. Went down to the arcades and spent 3/4 of it on Street Fighter 2, Ghost N Goblins and Double dragon. Had just enough left over to buy her a snickers bar
