Football Channel Asia reporting that Miroslav Klose has been offered a wage of 18m euros per season by an unnamed club. Also reporting that Beijing Guon are signing Anthony Modeste of Cologne, beating off interest from West Ham to do so.

That would be great except the decision makers would most certainly have an interest in seeing big name players come to Asia. Easiest way to do this is let the Chinese splash cash.
If you put fair play rules in place it means you might see some big investors exit the race.
It's shitty but theres not much that can be done

Pretty much this.
Football is probably more business than sport.

TNC Asia (@THC _Asia) reporting Shandong are signing Pelle and that he will earn 40 million euros for the next two and a half years.
