+x+x+xThat's bigger than most NRL clubs. Who said anything about NRL? He was just saying it is bigger than most NRL clubs.. no harm in that. almost 13,000 already is amazing, thats a lot of auto renewals! That's right, it's a fantastic number, and being so far out from the start of the season, it's more than what most NRL clubs get in a full season.

Gets old reading AFL fans boys constantly talking AFL up while talking NRL down on a bloody Football site.

I think it's a good effort for the Wanderers to sell more memberships than most rugby league clubs in the heart of rugby league territory. It's worth a mention, no need to get upset at such a harmless comment.

It's only due to the fact we have such terrible mods that you get away with such irrelevant crap.

The fact that the Wanderers are selling pre-season more memberships than what most NRL clubs sell in a full season is relevant and noteworthy. It shows we are coming of age.

I hear NRL & AFL are neck & neck in China, coming of age there.

Makes it even more impressive that the Wanderers are way ahead of most other codes in the area.

Yes, all codes, but the most impressive bit is that the Wanderers have pulled well ahead of all of the league clubs in the immediate area, a once strong league heartland.

So what's the deal with the membership figures for next season? No thread up at this stage?
This time last year we already had a few pages discussing. Could it be an early sign of how things are going to pan out this next season with dropping interest due to all the FFA issues currently ongoing?
Will make an early prediction that both Victory and WSW will see obvious drops in memberships. Despite what some posters here may say, the effect of NT and now possibly RBB falling apart will have an impact on memberships.

Fair call.
Roar, CCM, Jets should all go up. Glory too.
AU down sharply.
City flat, Nix flat. SFC flat.

@ Davo
Wasn't sure about SFC. The numbers weren't bad last year but lets hope they go up.
If WSW, Vic, SFC, Glory, City and Roar can all exceed 10k it'll be a good start irrespective of actual numbers

But didn't they get pegged back to 14k after the auto renews were adjusted? So the current 15k may actually be roughly 12k once this gets taken into account. Just a thought. Anyhow considering the diabolical situation at FFA HQ, anything over 100k members this season would be a good outcome all things considered. The sooner all of this gets resolved Im hoping in the coming years we'll be able to hit 150k+ members. The target should definitely be closer to 200k and if the league expands to 14 teams then we should be look at roughly 250k as our medium term target.
