Bad crowd. Its christmas holidays too. If they are getting 8.5k now then wait till feb it will be closer to 7k which is much lower than last few years. 

To be fair Newcastle have been average for so very long so its no wonder they are struggling crowds wise.

Out of interest has there been a noticeable difference being made since the ledman group came in? The FFA fucked around for literally years in order to get the right oqners in place. Had the place improved? Promised marquees and top 3 within a couple of seasons. None look likely at the moment. 

Meanwhile griffin is too busy being a fucking tightarse and wanting more from the tv deal so he can continue being a tightarse and pocket the cash.

8.5k is far from a bad crowd, did look worse on tv, let's face it most jets games unfortunately will look bad on tv.

Adelaide also good crowd to watch the slop they're dishing up.

Wasnt to the point that it would keep people away, temperature was in the 20s. Good crowd considering its doubtful anyone bothered after the cricket to cross the road.

Might have been more if we weren't so crap. bottom of the league vs top with a thumping expected. The true rusted on fans went. 11k is a solid fanbase. Bigger than Sydney proportionally. Every single one of their crowds that is less than 20 k is disappointing tbh.

Official crowd count seemed low. I go to every game and felt like an 18-19k crowd tonight. Heard there was a fuck up with tickets, some people couldn't scan in, computer systems got reset, and there were still thousands of people outside the ground 5 minutes before kick off waiting in queues for tickets and at the gates. Wouldn't surprise me if they ended up opening the gates to let everyone through.
