Spotless being a draw is nothing but it's the first game at your new home fir the next couple of years , think the supporters would want to show up to kick things off

City crowd on Friday night is going to be completely ruined by the weather. Such a shame.

We are a week away though and hopefully the weather turns for the best! Assuming the bad weather stays away in Melbourne on Friday night, is it completely unfeasible to expect 15K attendance? This team is playing an exquisite brand of Football, currently have a solid 10K + Membership, and will surely attract theatregoers in their droves. Does anyone have an early indication as tp what the crowd might actually be? Also, given the fact that there is some excitement around and demand for tickets will inevitably be relatively strong, will they open the second tier at Aami Park?

Weather is going to be completely wreck both the Melbourne City and CCM home games this week. Will be lucky to crack 15,000 between the two games.
Rest of the matches look fine.

Listening to the fox sports podcast and was mentioned a couple of things on tickets sales:
1. Melb City v Adelaide next week is tracking better than the Perth game this week... so if they do get a decent crowd this week, then we should be expecting a good crowd the following week also. 2. Melb City & victory are 50/50 revenue splitting the FFA cup semi next Tuesday to both help promote the game.

Predictions:
City/Glory - 8,000 (weather is going to ruin this one) CCM/Roar - 5,000 (weather is going to ruin this too) ADL/Victory - 15,000 Wellington/Sydney - 8,000 WSW/Jets - 14,000
50,000 total.
Not going to be a good week for crowds.

Not going to be a good week for crowds. Forecast for Gosford is the rain dropping right off by the arvo kickoff time. Melbourne probably wont be so lucky tomorrow. Still, You'd think they could pull 20k between them. Looking at the seating map for WSW vs Jets, there are bugger all seats left. Mostly singles dotted around the stadium. Surely they could be pushing 20k too?

Hopeful Predictions: City/Glory - 8,000 (weather is going to ruin this one) CCM/Roar - 6,500 (weather is going to ruin this too) ADL/Victory - 15,500 Wellington/Sydney - 8,000 WSW/Jets - 17,000
55,000 total.
Hopefully weather doesn't get too rough friday and saturday, and WSW could still potentially go higher than 17k

+xCity crowd on Friday night is going to be completely ruined by the weather. Such a shame. And also the fact that most City fans would have gone to the away Derby game last week and that they will also be playing at home again a week later against Adelaide. So in effect that's 3 "home" games in a row. The effect will most certainly be felt. If the FFA were trying to give them a good schedule they certainly fucked that up. And for people here sure to whinge about the low crowd for Friday (which mark my words will be low), an overall perspective view on it needs to be taken. If they manage to hit 10k that would be a real achievement imo.

I had totally forgot about that. That is home game overload. Couldn't have scheduled a worse semi final match up between the 2 melbourne clubs. Cant be helped i guess. But i dont understand why they gave the adelaide game the following week as a home game knowing they would have been in melbourne the 2 previous rounds. Now add the ffa cup semi and it's way too much.

Once crowds get up to the 14-15k or so they have to open the upper tier as per the game a couple seasons ago when Villa played.

Surely could not have exceeded 7k? Even less most likely, Melbourne Storm games that have 10-12k look about double tonights crowds, they're clearly cooking up something lol.

If you look at the seating plan of the stadium on the Austadiums site it gives the seats in each bay.
