To me this would be a great choice he fit into the national philosophy from the national team in playing that pro-active style, i always believed if only our youth teams got better coaching and preparation we might have got better results.
I would make him take over the young socceroos and even assist with the joeys also but most importantly he could train the next gen of coaches in the national team way, but it sounds like an exciting appointment for aus football.
