Maybe they should look in holland for a cheap-ish defender under the cap, you can have 3 good forwards but if your defense is shot you're gonna loose. maybe even Cansdell-Sherrif?

As if City would splash the cash for a marquee defender. They need attack. A playmaker. That's where their marquee will be.

I think he's still alright, adebayor would be interesting I dont think he would, but I definitely think he would be worth a marquee/guest spot. they would still need to replace mooy. they need a playmaker. if they have fornaroli and cahill they will still need to fill the gap. i cant see them going with a defender in the other marquee spot. unless they score someone under the cap - their are enough options around, doesnt have to be groundbreaking they could pick up someone like finkler, or someone like castro, floating around europe/south america.

From 2015 fam
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

anyone know anyone else? Arteta, Rosicky, Adebayor, Chamakh, Kolo Toure, Demichelis, Sessegnon you reckon we could get one of them in the HAL? arteta will be peps assistant at mcfc - more likely to end up at melbun as a coach. 35 yr old rosicky would fit the city transfer profile well: Edited by inala brah: 1/7/2016 06:46:16 PM

Edited by inala brah: 30/6/2016 09:45:33 PM Paid transfer window shuts on the 31st of July, the A-league teams rarely pay transfer fees for players though. Has an A-League club ever paid a transfer fee?>?? i could see it happening with CFG. they are going to want to pick the right character for the team. they want bums in seats as much as skill on the park..

If a deal had aready been done, surely after mooy has left is when it would be announced??? if someone massive (e.g David Villa status or similar) had signed for an a-leauge club a while ago, surely there would be a few rumors about it?? christ, even when they signed Robi Koren (whats he doing nowdays??) I heard about it a few times in various forums before it was announced..

View from the fence wrote:inala brah wrote:the only solid rumour ive heard so far The bloke who re-signed for Chelsea a couple of weeks ago ? That would be such a good but dreadful signing, good as in they need a centre back, dreadful as in they have all the cash in the world to throw at a xabi alonso or someone who can play a decent pass, and they go for an over the hill playboy? I surely hope not.
