I think the South Africans and Englishmen who faced him in partnership with Ryan Harris a few years ago, said it was the best opening bowling attack they'd ever faced.

It's a pity he had so many injury issues, especially considering he peaked relatively late in his career. 

I remember watching The 2008/2009 Ashes and he absolutely did my head in with how shocking he was.. And then boom, his game improved so much only to be curtailed by injury. I suppose bowling regularly at such high speeds will have its toll.

Either way, great to see him back. I won't be watching 20/20 though.

We never saw the best of him - there was so much to give.
