Group A = New Zealand, New Caledonia, Fiji
Group B = Tahiti, PNG, Solomon Islands (edited)

Both groups are played as a 4 match double round robin (over 6 match days) with double match dates (as home and away legs) in November 2016, March 2017 and June 2017

The top teams in each group play off in August/September 2016 and the winner of the OFC playoff plays off with the 5^th placed CONMEBOL side in November 2017
