One phenomenon that is occurring in the ACL is the quality of coaching in the ACL by Australian born HAL coaches.

Armed with a decent coach education system, last season (missed the two final ACL games in as I was in Europe with SFC and MV in the knockout stages) Aussie coaches did well with probably less talented cattle than their Japanese, Korean and Chinese adversaries.

The team units of HAL clubs are often well organised in tactics and structure that compensates for technical inferiority.
