#bundeswatch After a weekend of double headers, this weekend continues the trend with another Relegation Race Face Off! Sokorny's FC Leckie are hosting the most in form team of the competition, pv4's Werder! Sokorny's Ingolstadt were on quite a run before last weekend, so will be looking to bounce back in a big way against a team whom has managed 13/15 points available in their last 5 games. bigpoppa's Wolfsburg are away to 5th place Hertha BSC. And TYST/milan's Hamburglars are hosting cellar dwellars Darmstadt in what could be the banana skin of the year if a positive result doesn't come the Burglars way. In positive news for all of us, fellow cellar dwellars Mainz are away to top dawgs Bayern Munich. Fixtures:

Burton Albion are on the verge of what could be the most successful season in their history - surviving in the second-toughest league in the country - and we need you to get behind the Brewers in their bid to stay up. It comes as long-serving Albion chairman Ben Robinson has said the players' achievements this season in the Championship are a real credit to the club. And he was quick to point out that the fans are absolutely key in giving the players the final boost over the the next few games. They could be just one game away - if they win against Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers lose away to Wolves, then the Brewers will be guaranteed to stay up this Saturday.Read more at http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/burton-albion-are-on-the-brink-of-their-greatest-achievement-yet/story-30271112-detail/story.html#C8BjC8q8UD57jiCR.99

European Cup winner Garry Birtles says Nottingham Forest need to focus on picking up points, not playing passing football.
Now is not the time for Nottingham Forest to be trying to play attractive football. All they have got to be trying to do is win games, whatever that takes. Not trying to play great, passing football. That can come later on, once Forest are safe, once they know they are going to be in the Championship again next year. #bundeswatch Apologies for the late wrap-up! pv4's Werder were hosted by sokorny's FC Leckie and what a thriller this game turned out to be! In the end, the in-form team of the competition 4-2 in a 6-goal thriller! This result takes pv4's Werder from 8th to 7th place, whilst sokorny's Ingolstadt are still heavily imprinted in 17th and realistically will need at least 2 wins out of their last 4 games to survive the Relegation Race! A few tough weeks ahead! bigpoppa's Wolfsburg - were narrowly defeated 1-0 away to Hertha BSC, which confirms Hertha's stay in the Budesliga for next season! This unfortunately moves bigp's team from 13th to 14th. TYST/milans Hamburglars - what the actual shit happened! This commentator warned you about the potential banana peel in last-place Darmstadt, and the result was hilarious for all! Darmstadt able to jag a 2-1 away victory to pull the Hamburglars closer to the Relegation Zone whilst giving Darmstadt one last gasp for survival! Other Relegation Races FC Augsburg were defeated away 3-1 by Eintracht, whilst Mainz were fortunate enough to hold top dawgs Bayern to a 2-2 draw, and picking up a valuable point! Results: Ladder:

You didn't mention that Hamburgs only goal was scored by Darmstad defender in the 92nd. Superb Trolling Beautiful lob of the goalkeeper, Henry would've been proud of

#bundeswatch Check out this FFT article: https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/whos-going-up-whos-going-down-459791Germany Mathew Leckie (Ingolstadt)
Relegation from the Bundesliga beckons for Leckie, with Ingolstadt sitting 17th (second last) with four games to play. Ingolstadt are five points from safety, while 16th placed Augsburg (in the relegation play-off spot) are four points ahead too. After two straight losses it’s looking bleak, particularly with second-placed RB Leipzig next up but home games against out-of-sorts Schalke and Leverkusen are winnable.Prediction: 17th, Relegation
Mitchell Langerak (Stuttgart)
Conversely, Langerak’s Stuttgart are on the cusp of promotion, sitting three points clear in the 2.Bundesliga with four games to play. The top two automatically go up, with third playing 16th from the Bundesliga in the play-off. Third-placed Hannover 96 are currently three points behind Stuttgart, with fourth-placed Union Berlin a further three points back. Stuttgart face Hannover in the penultimate round in a crucial clash.Prediction: Champions, Promotion

#bundeswatch HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTTS! 3 GAMES TO GO AND WE ALREADY HAVE OUR FIRST OFFICIAL SURVIVOR! pv4's Werder Bremen hosted 5th place Hertha BSC and came away with a comfortable 2-0 win, which confirmed Werders non-relegation! TYST/milan's Hamburglars continued their abysmal form, getting smacked 4-0 away by fellow Relegation Racers FC Augsburg. That's 2 losses in as many weeks against Relegation Racing teams for the Burgs! Wolfsburg hosted Bayern Munich and were annihilated 6-0, which apparently meant some siginificant thing in the top half of the table which no one cares about realistically. Sokorny's FC Leckie produced an extremely admirable snore draw away to 2nd place RB Leipzig which keeps their survival hopes still within scent. Bigpoppa's Wolfsburg, TYST/milan's Hamburglars and Mainz 05 are all now locked on points in 3rd last position. And as predicted many weeks ago by this commentator, TYST/milan's Goal Difference could really be the Difference (hurrrrrrrr) in the end. What we do know is this end of the season fixture between Wolfsburg and Hamburglars could prove to be the biggest match in the history of history. Results: Ladder:

Results: Ladder: Werder are now into the Europa League spot too (I am pretty sure). Great turn around. Also worth noting that Darmstadt picked up their second consecutive victory (3-0 over Freiburg, who have the bonus of European football if they can climb above Werder again). Are Darmstadt throwing a hail mary?? FC Leckie holding on by the skin of their teeth ... I'd still say they need to employ the services of Copperfield to escape relegation this season.

Yes Darmstadt got a great result and are only slightly mathematically still able to survive. They'd have to pray for a miracle and win their last 3 games to avoid the drop! FC Leckie are giving it a red hot go at holding on. When you picked them up they were all but gone.
