Pretty close I'd say, although Williams picked up a calf injury on Saturday night and could be out for up to a month - seriously that bloke is cursed.

I would also be very surprised if Ajdin Hrustic wasn't at least in the initial 35 man squad - he has strung together a run of strong performances for Groningen in the last couple of months, including full games in the last 3 matches for two wins and a draw, and he has regularly been one of the highest rated players on the pitch on the FotMob app. Groningen are also safe from relegation now, with 2 games to play. And he plays in the Eredivise and we have a Dutch coach.

Not sure about Nabbout, he hasn't exactly set the world on fire since moving to the J-League. Likely to make the 35 man squad but not sure if he'll still be there when the squad is trimmed down.

Reckon Karacic is a definite for the 35 man squad (sorry lebo_roo).

maybe elsey, brilliante and o'neill maybe mehbratu, vidosic and troisi as well

a couple of league 1 players might be an outside chance as well

Not Troisi, hasn't done enough this season as a whole to warrant a call up & Brillante flaw in his game is the fact that he's been giving away the ball alot the past couple of months.   

No love for Amini? I’d be looking at him before McGree.

Looking at all these players, what a shame we can't get into the Suzuki Cup or the East Asian tournament. I'd love to see McGree and Aiden O'Neill in midfield together.

If Troisi and Ruka miss out on the 35 I'll be surprised. Troisi is such an enigma. He has this X Factor but it doesn't come out much. Besides his goal, that Chile performance was solid.

As much as the saying of 'no guarantees' exist. These players are in the 23. Ryan, Sainsbury, Behich, Jedinak, Luongo, Rogic, Irvine, Mooy, Juric, Leckie. Probably Kruse, Milligan and Jones as well.

Great bloke and personality but Wright has disappointed too much unfortunately. He might even disappear from the national team like Smith and Davidson. 

I reckon this will be the starting 11 for the next friendly. Not a fan of Jedinak personally, but I think he will start.

10 years ago I would've thought we'd have generated much more media coverage for football than is currently the case.

The sad thing is most football fans in Australia are more interested in what occurs overseas.

I don't mind the idea of Jedinak at CB with Sainsbury, apparently he'd been killing it there for Aston Villa. This would allow Mooy to pair with Luongo in the midfield positions.

Arzani confirmed part of the 32 man squad named tomorrow (confirmed on TWG). Along with the 26 Bert picked for Norway and Colombia.
That leaves 5 more new faces.
I would say karacic, maclaren. Who else?

Agree Maclaren and Karacic appear shoe-ins for that extended squad with Arzani.

So there are rumours that Arzani will make the 32 prelim squad on monday. hopefully Bert was impressed with McGree and Petratos too.

McGree taking away the scorpion kick, hes oozes class as a floating No.8, espeically in the first half. 

Petratos has been outstanding all season so i would be shocked if he missed out instead of someone like Troisi.

Karacic, Chapman, Dougall, Mcgree, Arzani and Maclaren. 

Not the best match for BVM to come and watch, pretty horrid at times. Wonder if Deng, Antonis, Petratos and McGree can get into the extended squad. That shot by McGree in the first half was awesome, even if he was really quiet in the 2nd
