From Newy Herald:

Meanwhile, the Jets are in talks with former Socceroo Michael Thwaite about joining the club next season and are also understood to be interested in Victory winger Fahid Ben Khalfallah.

Please no.  Sick of having wash ups and rejects at the club.  It has been happening for almost a decade now.  When will they learn.

It's Newcastle mate, we'll polish turds into oblivion and wonder why there's shit all over us

Don't understand how these signings would be negative the jets would be better off with both. Especially FBK

Perhaps sign some good youth players and marquees.  The jets have done nothing but sign washed up, borderline retirees for almost a decade now and look where it has got them.  We are owned by a billionaire who wants us playing ACL within a few years.  Signing people on their last legs is not the way forward.

Is that all we've done, though?

You can't deny the Jets recruitment has been shocking for a very long time.  Very few recruits have been successes, with most being rejects from other clubs.

Agree the jets have struggled with recruitment but Melbourne victory still look better with FBK in the team, he still has a lot of quality football in him and if the jets were to sign him he would be one of the best signings in recent seasons for them easily.

The jets need to cut a few players especially most of their foriegners besides nordstrand and brown, then go out n get active in the transfer window, with the World Cup right after the 2017/2018 season I think a lot of Aussie players will be looking for clubs in the a league. I think it's gunna be an open market in the off season with a lot of players in between clubs and not getting game time in Europe.
