+x+x+x+xIs this the first new news for Tomi Juric? Stuttgart and Freiburg had scouts out to watch our Roo #9 in his recent game/s with Luzern.
It also mentions Hamburg at the end of a paragraph in that article too, however I'm not sure if it was talking about Juric being linked there or whether it was someone else. The translation wasn't exactly perfect to understand. He has been in some great form over the last few months though. Hopefully he can keep this consistency! we will have to wait for johnszasz to translate for us :) Ok so this article. Yes he's been most recently linked to Hamburg. Stuttgart I'd say no way. They have Terrodde and Ginzcek plus Asano. Hamburg have Wood and a few other mediocre types but the club is rotten all over and the pressure isn't healthy. Freiburg at first glance would see a big challenge. I'd love a move to Freiburg now that I think of it. They're currently in the EL playoffs and only won 1:0 at home to the Slovenian side. They lacked firepower. They have Petersen and Niederlechner only. The rest are not up to that standard that Juric is. It's a massive campaign as they should make the EL group stage. It'd be a great move I think. what are you thoughts on the Wolfsburg rumour for Juric?

Anyone heard anything about this 3-year deal Birighitti has supposedly signed with a Championship club?

I hope he gets game time but I'm pessimistic. I hope he's not just another talented player who left too early

Not sure if it has been mentioned here, but former Nike Academy prospect and Western Sydney Wanderers junior Emilio Martinez is currently (trialing?) with Brisbane Roar and played in their friendly game last night. Not sure how he went, but he seems pretty happy up there. (Source Instagram)
Another trialist, Peter Skapetis, also played in the game and got on the score sheet with an apparently well timed run and finish. It's nice to know that he is over his injuries at the moment. If he can stay fit and learn some things from Aloisi, he could be a good pick up. Scoring a goal while on trial is always a good look. Good luck to him. Unfortunately, the other goals were scored by players who would be immediate positional rivals, in Maccarone and D'Agostino.
Ps. Sorry I never got around to posting the image of Fofanah's 5th division Turkish move. I've been way too busy recently...

Dominic Kurasik (GK) recently signed for Colchester United from Brentford. I assume he will be a back up keeper. At the start of last Championship season, he was on the bench for Brentford, but then he dropped away. Hopefully a move to League Two will give him more opportunities. https://twitter.com/KurasikDominic/status/892401928235347968

Young attacker, Tyrese Francois, has just signed a professional contract with Fulham. He was in the U-18s, but he was a phenomenon there. If you can watch some videos of him, he looks great! https://twitter.com/tyrese_francois/status/889886116089913345I believe he is a striker. He definitely has an eye for goal. With the right development, he could be a future prospect.

I did a quick google search of his name and it looks like he's only 16 years old, so he's right where he needs to be and progressing fantastically! Also, a quick gander through his twitter account has lots of mentions of Australia and the A-League (specifically Sydney FC who I think he supports) so he's very much got Australia on the mind. Perhaps worth a callup for the next U17/U20 squad?

https://streamable.com/4tjhlA video of Tyrese Francois' solo goal against Peterborough in the U18s, in which he scored a brace too. Very promising stuff so far!

+xWhat a fall. Wasn't there massive wraps on this kid a while ago? That's honestly so disappointing.... He was in the Olyroos this year and was even considered a prospect while at Turino... It's sad. It's like, if he was going to choose Serie C, he may as well have signed with an A-League team and continued to be on the radar. Oh well, good luck to him. Hopefully he'll get picked up by a better team by January.

+xAlusine Fofanah just signed for Kusadasispor in the Turkish Regional Amature League... it's a bunch of different leagues which make up the 5th tier of Turkish football... From ACL winner to Turkish oblivion is quite a fall from grace. He was touted as a huge prospect, but never really kicked on. He's still young though.Anyway, good luck to him.(Source was his Instagram) Tried to upload the image via tinypic, but it didn't work.... :(

@bundoora brah Well said, wow people on this forum get so upset when a young kid doesn't make the Barca first team by age 16. Give them a chance. I personally think it's a great move, the kid clearly wants to stay in Italy, good luck to him.

fair enough. point still stands. he is better off in 3rd division playing football than warming the pine elsewhere.

However, from what i can see it is a permanent deal and he is now completely off the map. They may be men but many of them will be semi pro players and teams. One more league down and it is amateur level.

Looks like Adam Federici is going to Nottingham Forrest. Seems to be the trend this winter. If you are Australian you will have a Nottingham rumour.
looks like it is happening tomorrow

Time to come back to Australia and start over, surely. for the wages he would be on, it's a risk considering his injury history. he would have to be willing to take a pay cut. maybe a loan from newcastle to cut some of the wage costs for them. not sure how that works with the salary cap though.
