Having watched the girls in the Asian Cup, I think the stripe on the socks is wrong. It should be a thinner stripe that goes vertically down either the front or back, not horizontally at mid- calf.

+xHey guys, Just saw this and thought I'd put it up here, an amazing new away kit from Nike, for CHINA Now I'm disappointed, Nike obviously don't count the deal with FFA as anything serious considering what they've brought out for us.... At lease we were treated better than Qatar, here's their new offering, very risky design if you ask me.... Would be stoked with the Doha kit but in gold. Simplicity always looks great.

Could be a long shot but maybe FFA is trying to suck up to FIFA by being one of the few teams following their stupid fucking rule.

+xSomething like 19 teams are ignoring the Fifa directive of predominantly light or dark and have different coloured shorts to their top. Only about 2-3 teams are following the directive. Of course there are some other teams who usually have the same colour shorts as their top. Yeah. It makes FIFA look like a bunch of chumps lol

+x+xhttp://www.ggarmy.com/Blogs/Sebastian-Hassett/Can-we-please-stop-messing-with-the-Socceroos--kitCan we please stop messing with the Socceroos’ kit?by Sebastian Hassett on Apr 11, 2018 How hard is it to design an Australian national team kit? Not hard at all. Let’s start with the basic ingredients.Gold shirt. Green shorts. White socks.Anything else? Preferably jet black boots, but that might be asking a bit much these days. In other words, the Australian football kit is really hard to screw up.Unless, of course, you’re in the business of wanting to put the word “innovative” on your resume, and feel a moral duty to tear up history and tradition so you can experiment with your creative side. Someone should really inform him of FIFAs new regulations when it comes to playing kits Predominantly dark and predominantly light. Are you serious? Have you seen what the vast majority of teams are wearing at the world cup? Brazil for one. England is another just to mention 2.

+x+xKeen for the 74 replica but hard to find at a good price to make it worth it. Wait, who's making this? Nike? Yeah that got my attention too, I bought one of the umbro ones years ago, but these look quite nice made by Copa, couple of different versions online This one's more of what we wore in qualifying https://www.micksimmons.com.au/products/1974-australia-retro-football-hirt
This is more true to the WC shirt https://www.uksoccershop.com/p-16669/australia-1974-world-cup-final-shirt.html

+x+xFunniest thing was fox website showing a photo of Arzani and not crediting who he is, but crediting Bresh next to him. Maybe it's because one has played over 80 games for the Socceroos and scored perhaps the most important goal in it's history and had a decade in Serie A, and one has played in 20 A-League games? Yeah, but its undeniable that Arzani will be the next Harry Kewell. Case in point the media hype surrounding Tommy Oar back in 2010. We are totally on the ball that time too.

+xMore than half the teams at the World Cup have different colour shorts to their top, but FFA in their wisdom have chosen to be one of maybe 2-3 teams to follow the FIFA directive to have shorts match shirt colour. Yeah it's a joke that's for sure. The matildas looked absolutely shithouse in the new kit the other night.

We’ve got our first chance to see how it appears on field with the Matilda’s in the Asian Cup, as opposed to on a catwalk. https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/video/1205367363987/Matildas-held-by-South-KoreaIMO it’s not that bad from a distance.
