+x+xSchoup... it's maybe time to let him know that the door is ajar. Leaking this many trys is simply after the sacking of Baz the players are lacking mental focus. But hd they have been suffering this dilemma for the last 11 rounds.

+xCan someone please post the JMK contract and especially the clause that says he must play at least 65mins and put the game beyond doubt (for the opposition) I want to see it in black and white Docker-clay looked better in his 10mins JMK was good tonight. But he is certainly not the answer. Mahoney is.
The players obviously got told their jobs weee on the line at halftime. Or at the least what they needed to do.
Burton. Pangai. Jackson. JMK. All stood up. They also pushed the ball wide quick without forwards getting in the way. Flanno even put in some decent kicks. We looked better in that second half than any game this year.
Potter might get more out of this team then Barrett ever could.

I think one of our most important signings is gonna be the next fitness trainer.
The speed of the ptb, how many blokes still on their arses in the ruck, 10-11 blokes in the defensive line because one or two are on their arse or not back in the line, the late half fades.
We were fitter under the Pay regime and we were behind the game then.
And it’s not just about flogging them, you need the smarts to flog them without burning them out or injuring them, there’s a balance. But we’re too far on the slob side of things atm.
Crucial appointment.
How f***ing fat Ferris was should’ve alerted somebody.

When the opposition has 70% of posession in a half, fitness is really tested. We had bugger all talent in the Pay era and this side is still a squad with a few issues . Yes we need to be fitter, but we also need better players, complete a set with a good kick, something we don't do often enough.

I give that first half to BaZ coaching , players were still in his trans .. Second half might had attributed to Potters half time pep talk See how it goes from here ...

Too many upper body tacklers and not even legs tackles. Losing Lewis and Elliott has been massive on this issue. Lewis arguably the best legs tackler I have seen since Mortimer or Silva. Maybe even better. So many times today I saw 2, 3 or even 4 of our guys trying to bring the Tigers down. And then invariably getting caught in the tackle and out of the best play. Compare us and just about every other team. Most teams have 1 holder and 1 leg tackler and they do it with ease. We are so poorly coached for so long it's depressing.

The coaches need to point it out, but some guys are slow learners. All teams have players who have brain fades from time to time. Team selection, handling, execution, decision making, fitness, attack and defence all need to improve. I am all for dropping players who make mistakes most weeks, but not in a one off game.

Ola on Paulo tackle 65 mins in… Why can a ref quickly say to the bunker immediately after a tough tackle ‘“can you check for a hip drop tackle” (assuming the tackled player will stay down) then tell the player who got up gingerly to play the ball (not laying down) “hold on a sec” while the bunker checks it… it’s a penalty or it’s play on… Fekk the bunker… fekk it hard… How many million bucks a year to get it consistently wrong or be a crutch for inept rule bending refs???…. I suppose the real question is what is the bunker sponsorship worth…

How does the NRLol think they are going to stop momentum based incidental penalties???… high shits, past the horizontal etc… The bin should only be used for foul play… not for shit that was impossible to avoid unless rolling out a red carpet for the bloke carrying the ball…

Then sometimes when it’s obviously a high shit it is ignored… The refereeing and the bunkering are an inconsistent inept bin fire…

I am glad we let Morgan Harper go, he does a lot of dumb stuff.
The refs and bunker get a lot wrong, probably more than the players.

The bunker is a absolute and consistent blight on the game… it has only achieved providing refs a get out clause and creating controversy…
They must be taken out of any and all decisions that don’t involve a try…

Refs get stuff wrong… and while hard to stomach, at speed it may be forgivable… But the bunker gets it wrong too often… and I’ll say it again… the bunker has no place in the game (if any) except for a try scoring situation,., wonder what the sponsorship/advertising is worth???… And more importantly if it’s ‘pay per postulation’ (we know the answer)…. sure… this may border on ‘parking officers and those cops that purchase leather uniforms being given quotas’ conspiracy, but thankfully we know that’s disinformation… or is that misinformation… either way… it’s Putins fault….

The NRLol is a defective product. It is only one of two organisations that I know of where substandard performances and incompetence from the officials is tolerated. Oh the other one is the government.

Surely a ref's job is to make a decision, but they won't fart unless the bunker makes the decision for them. At best they give an opinion. Why is this? Is there doubt about their competence? One of the results of this is a different rule is applied when a try is scored to what happens during the rest of the game.
