+x+x+xI think we've got a good one in Kiraz. I can see why Alamott has got a run in first grade yet. He seems to lack lateral movement and turn and chase speed. He has other attributes though and is young so he can develop. 20 runs for 229m 1 x try 1 x line break 4 x offloads 6 x tackle breaks 1 x making Gutherson a fool oh, and a kick…. sort of. Immense numbers that he’s been building up to every week. Not a bad game yet in a badly performing team. Genuine talent, physical presence, mature. Poster on the FB site says he replied when asked his preferred position is FB. I think right now he’s next in line and when he gets the opportunity that’ll be that. Too talented to be stuck on one side. Let him roam. Both Kiraz and Averillo were great and would reckon they have tied up their respective positions for the year. Raymond Fatala-Mariner has given a lot of energy to the team and the forwards seem more energetic as well. TPJ wanted to kill someone and I think he almost did. The offloads were great yesterday especially the last try. The Kiraz try for mine was the pick and kudos therein to Flanagan. I think Kiraz fooled the commentator as well as Gutherson. He obviously has a great football brain and so young as well. I hope we do as well next week. We have beaten Rorters, Cowboys and Parramatta...the only team to beat Penrith.
Steve, that's a bold statement!

+x+xI would consider Burton, Latrell and Foxy as the left edge attack for NSW in SOO. Move Luai to the bench. Burton's kicking and his kicks for Fox add another dimension to any attack. Latrell also has a handy amount of x-factor. This line up is also great cover for any backline injury. Personally I hope that NSW doesn't pick them, but a package deal makes the most sense. Why would you hope they’re not picked???… So they can play for a more important team.

I am pumped that Kurt Morrin is hopefully making his debut.
I think that he will soon be a fan favorite.
Potter making all the right moves so far IMO.

Our bench is small in sature but big in heart.
We don't have many options to add more size.
A few big guys out Thompson in particular.

At least the club can feel comfortable with both these guys to fill the #1 spot without needing to consider a superstar FB. I certainly feel Kiraz at centre is better than on the wing. He goes hard and looks like can break tackles.

I don't expect them to make a major change like this, but NSW has a habit of panicking.

so after the Penrith loss, in the dressing room when everyones just accepting it as just another day, Kiraz puts a rocket up them, right up Corey Allen in particular.
Half a dozen games and he’s had enough of “just another loss” and lets them know it.
Starting to become my favourite

Nice story, and it wouldn't surprise me if true. He is a good young kid with bucketloads of talent. He is a Bulldogs junior and wont accept mediocracy like the mercenaries that pass through our system. I believe players like Burton, Kiraz, Mahoney, Averillo, TPJ, Max King and even Fox will make the ideal cornerstones to build this team on provided the club does the right thing and look after them.

But Wardell and Stimson have changed my opinion in the last 2 weeks. Previously I was glad to get rid of them. I would also keep Vaughan. The whole team looks better with Potter coaching instead of Baz. Even Flanno had a good game except for the 2 kicks he did which were not even reserve grade standard. Kiraz might not be our fastest player, but he is the most dangerous ball runner. Not far behind Fox and Averillo so probably at least 3rd fastest in the side.

In terms of attitude Jacko, Topine and Morrin also have the Dogs fighting spirit. The last game against Parra was the first time in years that we have played like true Bulldogs. Run hard, tackle hard, play as a team, use the ball in attack, save trys in defence. I hope we kick on from here. The last 2 games we dictated a lot of the game to 2 good sides. Repeat the effort against Parra we are no easybeats, teams will need to play well to beat us. Against the Tigers we have a smaller pack, but more workrate. Play like Bulldogs and we should win.

We don't have or are unlikely to have 6 better middles than him. Lumelume a mixed game. Unfortunately Casey didn't play, I would like to have seen him.

I think Allamoti deserves a run in the centres. He certainly is t ready yet but deserves a taste. He will carry the ball harder than any other back we have.

Allan has denied the blast from Kiraz story.
Our win is due to slow improvement since Potter took over and the Eels chasing a lead
Kiraz is still one reason why we are playing better.

Jayden Tanner seems to be the only prop in the extended teamlist - this week's bolter pick.
We have 4 props out injured and are lacking a bit of size.

Patolo and Thompson are both still troubled by concussion...though it does say Luke Thompson is going to be assessed later in the week. Could he be an addition?? Patolo is a bit of a worry as this is probably his third concussion in not much time.

Patolo is a bit of a worry as this is probably his third concussion in not much time. Gus said no one will be added to the players named, that is why I picked Tanner. Thompson is seeing a specalist having symptoms concussion was out of the blue. A shame because Thompson had just found great form. Patolo all 3 incidents unrelated and he bounced back well the last few times. Billy T gone for the season and seafood out a few more weeks. Concussion could come good at anytime, but I don't expect to see Thompson or Patolo until after the bye. Previously I was suggesting that we sign a half, perhaps we now need a prop? But it is the prefect opportunity to give some young players a run.

Dinner at Gunnedah pub… get back to the hotel and flick on the TV… NRLol 359 is on.., How anyone can watch a show featuring the hack Rothfield is beyond me..,, I assume the person who thought viewers wanted to dorms an hour looking at the back of Readys head and Braiths profile is also in charge of rule changes and the refs… Im going to rub some of that tiny hotel soap in my eyes as I will find that more palatable…

According to Gus, we have signed Jacob Preston.
Roosters reserve grade 2nd rower, 3 trys in 5 games reserve grade

Vaughan is going to England for 2023.
Gus focused on signing players for 2022 and is very busy.
Below is my reading between the lines of what Gus has said.
Preston is a typical case, a good reserve grade player who we hope can push for NRL in 2022.
Any name signings for 2022 might be dependent on us also offloading players and close to June 30th.
We are trying to improve 2022 results to help attract players and a coach for 2023. Gus isn't giving anything away about the prospective coaches.

That is the worst first half I can remember from a team which is supposed to be a contender.
