Surprise, surprise, we are reffed differently.
Flanno needs acting lessons from Moses.

Flanno needs to sell it better and move across field to trigger the collision. Outside shoulder is black and white when the defender moves. But I have seen tries chalked off regularly on outside shoulder and minimal contact. If we stop the dumb dropped balls and up the line speed we are in this.

The good news is that if Flanno did a better job of milking, we might be leading, inspite of a patchy performance.
Hopefully Sharks don't improve.

I know we are down on troops, but that is no excuse for fundamental errors - our players don’t know the abc of rugby league

Last roll the dice here, we need to score soon. A try might give us a lift.

Very disappointing, we have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. Poor ball security is becoming all to familiar.

As per usual we couldn't handle the Sharks big guys up the middle, and we also struggle with their wingers. Some troops back in the middle will help. Did KO look interested in reserve grade?

The next game against the Dragons is winnable, but we need to play better, starting with fewer dropped balls.
Also more linespeed, more passing, and second phase play at the right times.
The teams effort in games isn't matching the slick pressers from CC.

Didn't think he pushed his claims. I noticed CC getting in his ear in the dressing room at half time.

Sometimes if a guy waits too long for an opportunity, he can just cruise in reserve grade thinking it doesn't matter. I don't see what we have to lose, our problems go deeper than Flanno, but he has been a consistent problem in at least 90% of the NRL games he plays. He is a net positive about 5% of the time. But KO might not be ready, if he was ready he would be carving up reserve grade. Also seemed like a lot of dropped ball in reserve grade?

A significant change this week with Burto to 7… who was easily our best… I hope a couple more changes this week in Skelton and Olo/Grub to start…
Its tough... plenty of injuries already causing chop and change… but we are getting closer to running out of time to make something of this season…

CC recons we are improving. This is a weird season, in the same game we can have patches of good footy in attack and defence where we seem to be on top and in control. Then a dumb error or penalty changes the momentum and all of a sudden we look like the worst team in the comp for a 10-15 min stretch. 2 bad stretches is enough to lose most games, the rest of the time it seems even and maybe we are the better side. To get more wins we need to- 1. Make fewer errors. 2. Score more when we are on top. 3. Reduce the bad stretches A few new faces might help with scoring more.

I think at least 3 out of 4 could keep us in the running …..

+xHow much trouble is Aus yawnion in with its talent pool, local comps, pathways, player profiles, game profile, coaching leadership etc where their best idea is to make a hit list of every league player in Aus to play in their important tournaments… and then play it out in the media to get some sort of attention… Does that super 18 or 15 thing even exist anymore???.,, I can say, seeing Haas or Cleary go to Yawnion will not lead to me watching 1 minute… I'm with you on this one

The whole notion of decoy runners is bullschite. Essentially they are offside. Anyone in front of the bloke with the ball is offiside aren't they, so in effect decoy runners should not be allowed at all and they should definitely not under any circumstance make contact with the defence.
