After living in Queensland  for a few years now I can see that Queensland, and their team are more passionate about SOO than NSWelshmen. We need to turn this around. A good start may be to get rid of the part  timers and select those that are fully committed. This, hopefully, would eventually  bring the passion  and true meaning of SOO back. By this I mean not Samoa or whoever one day and NSW the next. Total commitment, to eventually filter through the psyche.

This is not to blame these players for defeat. However we need to develop  a singular mindset and passion for the NSW jersey. It will take time but no half measures or mixed loyalties should be tolerated. 

I think that the players are just as passionate.

QLD probably get more boost from the home fans.

Overall QLD wins more games due to better spine players, harder working forwards and better coaching.

Game 1 - NSW tried to work over the middle forwards, the slow game tempo, and the work rate of the QLD forwards negated that.

Guys like Munster give QLD an predictable element. NSW needs Latrell, Murray should start and they need to improve the defence and speed up the attack. Cook should have a replacement hooker to back him up.

Anything can happen in sport if players want it badly enough.

To some extend the teams merely reflect their states, NSW always has lots of selection options and often gets it wrong. Even a wrong QLD selection often turns out right, because the player finds something extra.

It was a team bowling and fielding performance, the Indians lost patience and cracked under pressure.
