+xVilli, I am sure that they will fabricate something that implies the Bulldogs were behind it. Rumoured bulldogs signing target charged...

I like Kerry O'keefe calling the cricket. Knows his stuff & has the most contagious laughter I've heard on TV for years. Whatever Warney does sitting next to him, he must not tickle him, that would start a chaotic riot around the country...

+xDisappointing last hour in the cricket... Paines field not aggressive enough (common mistake for inexperienced captains), and the quicks bowled too short with the 2nd new ball... I'd like to see Cummins get his hands on the 2nd new ball with Starc moving forward... A good day overall, but need to scuttle them quickly in the morning though... Batting for an hour and posting close to 300 could swing momentum enough to cost us dearly... Yesterdays news, but anyway. I don't think it';s fair to put it on Payne, maybe he could've done better but he wasn't the main issue. The main issue was, our bowlers having bowled so well all day turned to absolute sh.t with the new ball. I really don't think I've seen Starc in particular bowl a worse spell in his life and I doubt he'll bowl one as bad in future. I reckon they just couldn't control the swing for whatever reason, something in the air must've been kicking it sideways. Starc was bowling outside leg most of the time and when he put it in line it ended up 2 foot outside off. They were f***in' terrible. In complete contrast to everything that had preceded.

BTW, our playing strip at $4.2m is the richest in The NRL. The rest average between $2.5-3.5m.
So much for the fallout, so much for the sponsors deserting us in droves, so much for the drama.
THE R-I-C-H-E-S-T in the NRL.
And when we start winning some sh.t.....
Just remember, you leave us, you NEVER come back. So go stick your Wicked Sister and Jaywho crap on the arse of whatever loser is desperate enough for the coin because we got options, we got queues.

Starc has done that a few times, he either loses some control, or gets impatient. The one bit of play I heard (on the radio) even Hazelwood was bowling too short. If it was swinging too much, they may have needed to bowl shorter. Overall 250 is still a good result. It is down to our batsmen now, we are after 400+, even 350 doesn't set up a winning position. Good things is if our batsmen can lay a platform, I can see the tail adding some very valuable runs.

A couple of catches went through third slip after a third man was put in place for I'm not sure what reason... They were still plodding at that stage. Its totally fair for Paine to be held accountable for that decision.

Good things is if our batsmen can lay a platform, I can see the tail adding some very valuable runs. If its swinging too much you adjust your line, then try angle the seam further so it wobbles or bowl with fingers across it; not bowl shorter. Common thing for quicks to get carried away with when bowling with a new ball at the tail... Again (and I'm not having a go) the captain should've told em to pitch it up... Starcs last wicket on day one the best way to bowl to quicks. I still think cummo should get the 2nd (or both) new ball in preference to Hazo...

This partnership is vital for us, need to get to at least 200 before losing the next wicket.

Tony, don't believe anything you read and only half of what you see, but if you want to go down that road, if you're worried about the first 3 to 4 months due to Lichaa being in No.9 you must have had your eyes tightly shut for the last couple of seasons.
