Also a good line up in reserve grade with a few guys needing a run to push for NRL.
Sutton and the new guy Suluka-Fifita are the only long term injuries, both probably back may/June, so perhaps by the time that we need them.
Knight and Patolo in reserve grade keen to push for NRL.
This season will make or break Knight, reclaim and NRL position and his future is assured. Spend the season mostly in reserve grade that will not help his chances with the next contract. The UK is an option.
I always like to see Dogs players rising to a challenge like that.

Not surprised with the team. Would like to see much more size in the forward pack but we obviously don’t have anybody fit enough to push for a spot. And I’m disappointed in Xeri not making the side. He should be there on firm. Kiraz is a much better winger than centre. But it is what it is.
Our backline looks much stronger than Parras. And we have a better back row. They have us covered easily in the middle and the spine. We need to kick long. Control the ball and field position and give the backs plenty of ball. We are a chance.

No problem with the selection, Wilson's trial firm deserved a spot, Kiraz has the runs on the board from previous seasons. Kiraz hasn't played any trials and still might drop out for Xerri. If anything Taaffe slightly lucky. With Xerri, Tracey and Skelton in reserve grade no one can relax and take their spot for granted . Likewise in the forwards we have probably picked the best available rotation for now, but we have more size we can add in a few weeks . Sat arvo dry conditions should allow us to move the ball and move their big guys around. I think that we need to play some footy to win

Yep… if the 1 & 7 can’t deliver their fair share of opportunities this year the trigger needs to be pulled quickly… In both cases we have reasonable alternative options. Taaffe and Hutch didn't set the world alight in the trails. But our defence, completions and discipline was a lot better. How many we need to score also depends on how many we concede. Given field position, Burto, Reed, Kicks and Presto can also contribute as can our centres and wingers. I don't care who gets the TA as long as we have enough of them. Attack can improve during the season and that might need some team changes. I am not looking for perfect in round 1, just a win any way we can get it.

That and a couple of recent matters that obviously prompted the comment… I don’t think invoking unknown or unclaimed provocations justifies anything… there is no indication of that at this stage… there’s plenty to suggest she may not have been at her at her best shall we say… My comment stands, it is not about what she may or may not have said… it is a comment about the theme virtue signalling alleged ‘progressives’ extol when it comes to this type of stuff… and it’s hugely hypocritical… but completely unsurprising for that crowd…

I mean… it’s only been on the cover of every newspaper in Australia, and lead the news on TV and radio… and is an international story, certainly making news in Britain and in Europe.
A bigger story with more coverage than Spencer and his crap.
If it’s not getting the attention you think it deserves, maybe you should broaden your where you get your news from.
