Either that journo won't have a job ling, or the term journo is being applied to some dude that started a reddit thread...

I noticed it as a twitter post from nrluniverse earlier. It was also mentioned on the nine wwos website with the extra line :
"The player concerned is one of the game’s brightest young stars but had a well below-par season in 2018."

The guys club can sober him up & tell him to snap out of it...or try to at least.
From the sound of it, a talented player but suddenly a whole crap year & that stuff is involved, not good.

They can't do anything about walker yet... Need to wait for the courts...
GI lost the captaincy and was barred from the two tests I think...
You're right about it not impacting the roosters though... Funnily enough South's unaffected by GIs punishment...
It's just all so damned inconsistent... And that is Greenberg and the ARLCs fault...
Tough Talking Toddy is frustrated???... Funny how he wasn't frustrated and angered by incidents involving - South's sext, GIs drink driving speeding, the other young South's bloke that was charged...
The Corey Norman tapes came out two years ago... Why wasn't TTT as angry, and frustrated then...
Bolton still no word from the NRL when swift action could have been taken..
A ranger having sex was the last straw?!?!...

Feel good article which I appreciated ..

The first comment says it all...

Since the 1970 and 80s I have despised the dogs with a pathological passion. But let the record show that they are a great club full of great players past and present and demented but loyal fans…great article. well done

Probably the biggest outcome of all this NRL drama in the past 12 months is that Greenberg is proving himself to be incompetent, ineffective and is way out of his league in the position he holds. I agree with a lot if people in here, Greenberg needs to stand down and let some who knows what they are doing have the position.

Josh Cleeland has signed for Ipswich :

https://www.qt.com.au/news/2015-premiership-winner-returns-to-jets/3630021/

I wish he could've had a few matches in first grade along the way, it just wasn't possible to select him not being in the top 30 squad.

Have said it before Greenberg only cares about Greenberg....illustrated by his reactions to varying situations. His reaction with Inglis was to appease the indigenous brigade and those who would construe criticising an indigenous as being morally corrupt. Compare with his mad Monday response. No one was hurt and it was obviously a set up but he didn't want to  be seen to offend the moral brigade. Ditto with the Napa. He covered up the Barba wife assault because it wouldn't look good on his watch and the aforementioned not wanting to offend the indigenous brigade. His reaction to every situation that arises is based on feathering his own nest. Feel free anyone to show something that would suggest this is wrong.

Maybe as Bulldog supporters we need to voice that we are "offended" by Greenbergs reactions to the various club issues in relation to these other issues, and let him know that he has failed and needs to resign.

Is it too late for the NRL to nominate Dylan Napa to officially open the 2019 season?

Looking at the pics yesterday from the fan day at Belmore, looks like Napa was very popular

I hope he kills it for us

Young Bulldogs half Brandon Wakeham will miss the next 10-12 weeks after requiring surgery on a syndesmosis injury suffered at training

There's a video that goes with it and it looked really bad, bad enough to take the 12 weeks and thank f*** for it.. Had his leg folded back under him in a contact session.

Surely Australia Day should be the same as Anzac Day with the public holiday falling on the actual day...if it falls on a weekend stiff schit. As it is having a public holiday on Monday is ridiculous as it seems all ceremonies and events are happening tomorrow anyway.

Monday is "recovering from Australia day celebrations" day. Hence it a public holiday.

So the Socceroos crash out of Asia cup w iu th a back pass mistake.....How fitting.
For years I've been critical of them passing back all the bloody time in an effort to maintain possession, and now it has cost then in a big tournament.

I hope this forces a change in how they play the game.

After 1 test Richardson 5 wickets @9

And he looks all right too and has for some time. Been the best BBL quick by plenty for a few years now and he's taken it and stepped it up to the Test arena, very aggressive, very nice.

In fact when Hazlewood is fit, if things keep going the way they are both Starc (in particular) and Hazlewood might find it's not Richardson who'll be making room in the team for anybody.

Starc's had a dog of a summer and needs to snap out of it.

Darn right...you would have thought Starc bowling with a pink ball in night conditions would rip through them but not the case. Based on Richardson in this test Starc would be currently number4

Normally those conditions would, but he's got something wrong with his action... can't pin point exactly, but his bowling arm is often coming over in different spots, his wrist is all over the place... .so he can't keep the seam straight to swing it, and when it does go he's got no control...
Often these issues can be caused in the approach or run up too...
You know a bowlers in trouble when they're regularly checking foot marks...
Get DK back here quick smart...

Tennis last night was good...Osaka vs Kvitiva ….no grunting...no histrionics...excellent shot making. Great courage by Kvitiva...down 3 match points 0-40 on her swerve. Great use of technology...excellent challenges. AND to top it all off some dickhead in the crowd tried to get an Aussie Aussie Aussie call and response going and as far as I could tell not a single person responded. Almost restores faith in human nature.
