+xDman, I like the team, but the bench you picked is missing a big man....RFM, Elliott, Sue.... all good players, but don’t scare the sh1t out of the opposition. Tualau or Ogden need to be thereI’m looking forward to seeing Lewis link up with RFM & CHN I thought exactly the same as soon as I looked at it... Though I reckon RFM and Elliot could handle it...

Tualau can be the next Addin Fonua Blake if he just takes his game to the next level....
Both are built the same
Surely Pay can get him there?

+xSo its about time for this yeah???... Or is it like putting your Xmas lights up in October???... 1 Meaney 2 Chricton 3 Hoppa 4 Dutchy 5 Smith 6 Foz 7 Harry 8 Tolman 9 lichaa 10 Napa 11 CHN 12 Martin 13 Jackson Res. RFM, JMK, Sue, Elliot Not a bad side, I'm thinking RFM or Elliot should start with Tolman on the bench. Sue is ok, but Odgen or Renouf T might be better options. We are lacking a bit of size but play fast and energetic that will help compensate.

Are these "Kiss" band guys really feuding or is it some kind of tour attention seeking marketing? https://www.guitarworld.com/news/kiss-at-war-the-gloves-are-off-between-frehley-and-simmons

I was never really into it myself. It's just one of those things, they were like household names everywhere. Everyone knew Gene Simmons poking his tongue out & carrying on, Ace Frehley & Paul Stanley, then to a lesser extent Peter Criss. It'd be like ACDC kicking out Angus or the Beatles kicking out George Harrison. Not that it matters, but I think it's genuine. Gene Simmons always did seem like "one of those" (something along the lines of what Ace Frehley described).

Just throwing it out there....
Should the Dogs have held out on signing a replacement for Klemmer?
Now I’m actually more excited about seeing Napa than when Aaron Woods signed on with us, but with George Burgess on the outer, rumours the Sharks & Tigers in need to move players on due to SC fines
Could we have gotten someone better than Napa for the cash we’ve splashed?

No change to the Test team. Far out, another player to add to the cheer squad waiting around, sitting on the sidelines looking on.
Stoinis for Starc at least...pfffttt.

I'm more concerned we already have our 30 player roster bedded down with (apparently) no where to go (salary cap not with standing of course). Napa could be great for us...or a complete dud...we all hope he fires ....and you'd imagine him and Elliott will be determined to repay the club and fans for the support.

Well I just saw 2 videos of Napa.... In one of them, I like the blonde and think he's a legend. On the other I dont like what i see and wish he played for someone else....

No way a better prop than big papi hits the market pre June 30... I would however have held off signing the 30th (which was Harper not Papi).. Caveats being, we have no bucks left for more than a min wager anyway, and no one anyone else would buy at this stage to generate more space and in turn bucks...

I can see us cutting loose a forward eg (Fualalo, Chris Smith etc) that are in their final year...
We are clearly a decent backline player short

No. You make your decision at the time with the information you have at the time and if you're happy with the decision you made at the time you don't look back, you NEVER look back. It's bad enough when other people try second guessing you all time so don't do it to yourself.

I bet that is the last time Khawaja gets batting tips from Dman.
Luckily he is also advising the opposition bowlers..
Vishwa Fernando - great name, i'm glad this guy got some wickets.

Khawaja disappoints the hell out of me. You don't have to look hard to see his problem - it's effort, any effort.
It shows most apparent in his fielding, he just doesn't put in. You can tell he don't like fielding and just wants to play cricket at the crease and leave the rest up to somebody else. But this is Test Cricket, pull your effort in any of it and it flows on to all of it.
They should drop him, tell him to come back when he's serious.

In fact, if Patterson gets any sort of score here, i reckon Khawaja's goose is cooked.
There's no more Tests to the Ashes is there? There's the WC which Khawaja will be lucky to figure in, nBurns and Head have done everything they can to make sure they're on the plane to The Ashes, Smith and Warner coming back, Stonis in the wings.
Khawaja's played himself out.

Khawaja's played himself out. I'm not 100% certain about Warner. But I agree on Khawaja, in fact many of our batsmen against India were ordinary. This game is a difference in class, all the more reason to cash in.
