Greenberg saying clubs should be aware of who they are purchasing is equivalent of a the NRL being aware of who they are registering.  Surely if this is the test you should be entitled to assume that a player registered by the NRL has no skeletons in the closet.  Complete double standards.

The next election will come, and he'll either be re-elected (unlikely) or be voted out. There might be some investigation into his dealings for a while (will take the focus away from actual governance by bv the new president) , and then it will all just die down. 

The US public will then become depressed as they wont have a scapegoat to whinge about so their lives will be miserable.

My guess is the investigation will file a report then largely get on with prosecuting his associates.

It will not look good from Trump the Dems will investigate his tax returns, his family finances, campaign finances and anything else they want.

The we may be talking impeachment and later prosecuting, legal action against a sitting present is tricky.

Once he is an ex-present, and particularly if the Dems win, depending on the report, and all the other evidence, jail is possible, and it might be a long stretch. 

Still to early to rule anything in our out, but Trump is making Nixon look like a saint, a genius, and an all round good guy, in comparison
