+xAfter doing a bit more research, I'm not 100% sold on Granville. He is getting older (29), and his game has gone backwards the last few years. So he is really only an option for 1-2 seasons, that kind of signing assumes JMK is the man who is our long term hooker. We do have some good kids in the lower grades apparently, so it might work. But if we had a crack at a real class hooker who was younger, that is a better option. The optimistic view is our premiership window is 2021-2025, it certainly doesn't start before 2021, so if we are signing players who might retire by 2021, that needs to stack up financially. Granville is a terrible passer and his running game has disappeared. Either sign one of the thousand young hookers they have looked at or bring up one of our own.

+x+x+x+x"The Marvelous Mrs Maizel"...has anyone seen it? Set in NY in early 60s and featuring iconic cafes such as the Gaslight with authentic actors playing the likes of Lenny Bruce. Great witty script with lots of Jewish humour. Brilliant cast...setting....etc. won Emmy for best actress in a comedy and deservedly so. Only 3 episodes into season 1 but hooked hooked hooked!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! Everything about it is brilliant. The best show I have seen for years. Watched the first two series and can't wait for season 3. As you said Steve the cast is just brilliant, what a talent Rachel Brosnahan is. I love it and have yet to get fully into it. Yes Rachel Brosnahan is great...can't wait to see where it is going. Her father played by "MonK"...Tony Shalhoub is just one of the great supporting cast members. And of course I picked her husband was ripping off Bob Newhart!! Yes Shaloub is so funny and what about Alex Borstein as Suzie, she is a classic. True...great running joke she is mistaken for a bloke,,,the script is so good..The iconic NY locations.

I hope this new stadium is a catalyst for bigger crowds in the western suburbs. I hope so, but only time will tell. Game promotion was all about the venue not the game. Having said that, in the middle of a wankfest about the new venue on TV an ad comes on promoting the magic weekend at Suncorp. New venue abandoned. What are the RL hierarchy thinking. A coordinated approach to game promotion might be a good idea.

Seriously we've been a bumbling pigeon mess with regards to the stadium issue.
How much money was raised to Clean the pigeon crap on the seats.
All we needed was to get in bed with an Aleague soccer team. Stroke the ego of the local politician and boom. We have a brand new spanking stadium with lots of parking at the Racecourse.
Meh.

Really, WTF is this game coming to? Our 17 comprise of one SOO player in Napa, a renknown half that spends more time out injured than on the field a couple of established FG players and a bucketful of juniors as against a team such as the rorters who field at least 10 International/SOO players, the NRLol consider them cap compliant yet we are restrained due to SC constraints. Now if you think that was a joke then read the latest from Annersley. He is virtually accusing the Dogs of stalling and go slow tactics in the PTB and yet what about the storm, the kings of slow down wrestling...... I think Annersley needs to be drug tested.
