+x+xWhat about josh reynolds the westigers have him for sale in there fire sale but @ $950,000 a season no takers id take him back @$350,000 as long as there tigers suberdice the rest I would offer $100K, at that price he is handy.... would play 14 off the bench .. when injury free so 3 games per year... Evidence DOES exist that not every player we have let go is a candidate for the greatest player the game has seen.

The Hot Zone.
It's on Fox (National Geographic i think) or you can stream it if you can.
It suffers from production, which is not surprising when a doco channel tries to do a mini-series, but two episodes (of six) in for me it does still capture the essence of the book and if you were gob-smacked by the book it's an acceptable adaptation - and it does have Ser Davos.
The book, I've said before on various incarnations of this place, is the scariest most intense thing I've ever read - and it's a true story.
The premise doesn't sound all that scary - a bunch of scientists trying to kill some mad monkeys in a research facility, but it was written by a master crafter well researched on the topic matter. Oh... and those mad monkeys had ebola.

Chernobyl is good too, better than good, very very good. On Showtime or whatever they call it now (The HBO, Game of Thrones channel). I've already streamed the whole thing.
Really great show once you get over the English accented Russians. Jarring at first because you're expecting them to do bad Russian accents, but it was a deliberate decision by production because they reckoned actors forget how to act when they're concentrating on trying to badly imitate accents.
Excellent mini-series (5 parts).

Listening to Macquarie sports radio at however many thousand feet... Did anyone else hear about the AFL fan ejected from a game for calling the umpire a "bald headed flog"...
Villi and I would have been barred for life from attending games if that's the benchmark...

Will never forget the day at the Showground one night p1ssing down rain vs Raiders & the Dogs we’re getting flogged by about 40 nil Dogs got the penalty in front of the sticks... Dman screamed out ‘take the 2’.... Corey tapped it & fumbled it...... the profanities that Dman dished out were legendary

+xForan's been playing excellent. As best as can be expected of him, What Marki doesn't realise or fails to see is it's hard to do all the things he wants of him when he's the most marked man on the field. In fact in any weekend he'd be close to the most marked man in The NRL. Because every opposition knows - he's all we got to create anything. His guru Copper Cronk said essentially that in the post game wrap on Fox on Monday night and in the process told us exactly what The Roosters are gonna do this weekend. So listen to the guru Marki. He knows, he knows! - You keep telling us that Okaaayyyyyyy so the answer is once your halfback goes of on HIA the best thing to do is go in your shell and let a forward do the halfback role in case the opposition figures out that you're the only option left? Are you people serious or are you pretending to be as stupid as Pay just to get me agitated? Mate the guy is the highest paid player in the club. It was his time to take control no matter what the opposition was thinking. He did it again afew weeks back and numerous times at the Warriors. He's not the worst player in our club but nloody hell when you look at his worth, he gives a mighty challenge. This club cant afford this type of player. The titans have the same problem with Ash Taylor. Difference is they dont hide behind the problem. It's just that their hands are tied.

Or perhaps this.....if we approached Souths or Raiders or Titans and offered a direct swap of Foran for their hooker what would the outcome be? That's right....a big fat no.

It's just that their hands are tied. Stupid is as stupid does... the 'cant afford' line has nothing to do with anything that has actually been discussed by anyone but you, or has even been debated by anyone else.., you continually and deliberately obfuscate the actual debate by equating effort with value for money... Simple fact is despite the actual $ value, he as our highest paid player has been our best in nearly every game he has played, not his fault Dib&co payed overs... Essentially you're saying if he was paid less you'd be happy with his effort... For us simpletons perhaps you might be able to provide some context re the 'hiding' and 'hands tied' prattle...

Chances are I won't agree with the vast majority of your posts... As per my other reply, your debating something no one else is... you have several times questioned his actual effort and involvement... most disagree... then you brought the $$$ into it to try and prove your point... id say most agree he's on too much coin, but that's not the debate...

Middle order collapse.... No idea why they thought it was a good idea to demote (several times) the bloke that would've held up an end while the others went for it,,,
We should win on this pitch, it's holding up a bit, but Id have had Hazelwood there even if he was going to miss the first two games...

Foran right now... is the least of our problems TBH
Issues are:-
* our forwards are getting dominated * zero creativity/involvement from the 9 & 1 * line speed in defence non existent * a backline that wouldn’t hurt a fly * 5th tackle options
I would love to get a D.N.A. test done on Hoppa to find out if John is really his old man... the softest/slowest Hopoate of the entire clan.
Hoppa seems to escape all the negative headlines.... he needs to be moved on!
Watch him play for Tonga next week.... a completely different player, more aggressive, more involved.... you watch peeps!
