He was good at breaking the line & orchestrating tries, very elusive.

Souths playing Latrell at fullback is the right move... and what I would have done...
My question is will Latrell have the fitness, the right defensive positioning and be good enough at cleaning up kicks and organising his defense..
We know he is going to create nightmares for the opposition defence on occasions .. but can you work him over, get him chasing kicks and chewing up a lot of juice at his end of the field.....?
Fullback is an elite position and very hard to fill, as the Tigers are finding out... We know Doueihi already ticks a lot of boxes and can play other positions...
So Latrell at fullback is a bold gamble that is probably going to be a big win, or a big flop
Souths have a strong squad and should be contenders... but game are not won on paper or in January.

+xTo be fair to the NBN guy, he's only payed to go to the first point of access, that's his job. If you want it wired through walls and cavities to your preferred room - that's your job, You pay for someone to come out and do that, like I did (Jim's Antennas - yes THAT Jim of lawnmower fame, he does f***in' everything now). You know Marki, you got to do some buyers research yourself. You can get it hard-wired through to whatever room(s) in the house as you want, but that's your responsibility. And as Nora pointed out you can get yourself an appropriate modem, and that's your responsibility too (and get one with antennas and plenty of them if you want wi-fi). And another tip, when you buy one make sure you tell the salesman if you're on FTTP OR FTTN because they're different modems. I understand that. My gripe was that in all the letters I received from NBN co etc, they never once advised what the process would be. With all this talk of "same copper wires etc" I thought they would be connecting to the same phone wire that my current ADSL was. All they had to do was mention or diagramstically show a new access point will be needed to the house (somewhere) but it would have also been nice if they said it was subject to cable length or first room proximity. I was literally clueless as to what was happening on the day. Anyway, it's done now. And the 5-10Mb/s I'm getting in my study / office (I run my business from home) is better than the 1-2Mb/s I was getting with ADSL so it's an improvement. I might take the advice and upgrade the WiFi router as BN and you suggest.

I doubt souths have the forward depth this year to be consistent all season. Their backs will get sick of defending their goal line with other teams marching them back down field easier & what forwards they do have will get sick of being belted bringing it out from their goal line. It's only a slight exaggeration, but some souths fans are already worried about it. Others are assuming they're grand final certainties without putting any thought into it.

I've thought about, and I'm sure the refs will ensure the NRLol get their dream GF... They won't let them meet in the semis again...

+xIf so Souths will have easily the best backline imagin mitchell j a carr gagi roberts campell walker reynolds The best hope of beating them is hoping the defence isn't up to scratch... IMO the Wayne Bennett formula is get the best attacking players he can, and work out a system of covering for weak defenders... In that list Campbell and Gagi are good defenders... I've got some question marks over the rest ...especially when considering their positions... Souths do have some good defenders in the forwards, and Reynolds has a great kicking game... added to their obvious attacking potency, they can score plenty, The question is how many they let in and how the players relate to Bennett... again that area is typically a strength .... but not always..

From what I can see, even if that get Jai this year, that gives them a good starting pack with C Murray, Ethan L, Cook, Sironen Jnr, but there's no depth for injuries & the bench will have a heck of a question mark on it.

They also have 1 Burgess left and Tom Amone who is a Prop I rate... Armone is off contract and would be a good signing for us, but I doubt he is ready for long minutes in the NRL,... C. Murray, Arrow, Cook, Sironen and Lowe can all play long minutes... Su'a and Knight have a bit of impact off the bench... The guys I listed as playing long minutes will do most of the tackling.... Arrow is a gun player... as is Murray, they have got good forwards, a great half and a strong backline... contenders at least on paper IMO...

I don't disagree, but that's a starting pack & half a bench. See what I mean about injuries & depth...it's a long season. When they're all on deck they should do well, but can they all stay fit for the long haul...

Get good ball down their end and force their centres to make decisions.... or force Latrell to chase a few grubbers... and get some repeat sets... reasonable chance of posting a try IMO...
