A)  they will be more likely to pay out well when they are switched back on and gambling is available to public again, since they haven't made a payout for a while and the computer timer has been tricked?

Or

B) They become more stingy and not pay anything decent for quite some time as the timer has averaged that the machine hasn't "made enough" of its set percentage intake?

On the issue regarding JAC and Mitchell. They have ignored national rules and yet V'landys has replied that they will accept whatever punishment the govt is going to dish out. When OK and CHN ignored Bulldogs club rules TTT jumped in and deregistered them both after the Bulldogs metered out a hefty punishment. To be fair both JAC and Mitchell need to sit the season out (if there is now going to be a season) or they need to reinstate OK and CHN, otherwise V'landys may as well tender his resignation as being as useless and ineffective as TTT.

Tell me this, after Trump brainstormed about shining light through the skin or maybe somehow getting light into the body and a way to inject disinfectant because it could help fight in the lungs and Dr Brix was sitting there with a look on her face that summed up the whole insanity of what she was hearing....

There are a lot of indigenous players in the NRL.  If the race or cultural excuse is accepted in the instance the NRL's case to resume is blown apart.

The stupidity was the club taking action too early to sack them when it was clear the Covid situation would cause misdirection and TTT was looking like getting sacked. 

All that was needed for OK and CHN was to wait out till someone else fekked up. And these 2 have taken the cake.

I believe the club sacked them and they were consequently deregistered. 
Club would have seen covid shutdown as an opportunity to get them off the books and cut back on losses. Makes financial sense now but not for the future roster.

If it were an overpaid MBye or Woods, then fair game. But I dont think we were paying overs for CHN. His return value was good. 

In any case....I'm more concerned about the Abos getting off lightly. Not so much for them getting together (I'm sure others are too)....but stupid enough to post it in social media when the game's return is hinging on them proving how they can resume the comp safely.

I dont think I've seen anything compromise the game like this has. Only the supplement scandal (darkest day in sport) comes close. 

I honestly think standing them all down till next season is the only viable thing to do.

I noticed within an hour of the LM/Jaddo thing hitting the news that Souths announced they were taking up their option to keep LM on for the 2nd year of the deal.
Bad timing, maybe, but could also be more worried about losing what they've already paid him for only 2 matches without getting anything back in return, compared to taking a moral or disciplinary stance. That's if there still is a comp after what those players did. They've put billions of $'s at risk, also peoples lives. That's why there's rules & laws in the first place.
CHN & Ok have to cop it too, unfortunately. They didn't break any laws, but the club rule they broke did millions in damage. At least those 2 didn't put lives at risk, but it doesn't make it alright. They certainly haven't offered any compensation for the damage. I just wouldn't fancy their chances suing anyone, considering they're clearly in the wrong (the evidence went public) & they were fairly dismissed accordingly.
