+xI always thought Mckiness was rubbish and this game has done nothing to change my mind. Its Starling or Harry Grant for mine. He’s not rubbish Marki.... he’s a bloody good No9 in my eyes Id love him at the Dogs. 1st choice would be Brandon Smith because Storm release EVER Harry Grant then I’d go for McInnes

+x+xSims should have been in the bin. With Foran off we are a player down due to foul play. My suggestion for when a player is forced off due to foul play. Injured player replaced. Replacement not counted Offending player replaced. Replacement counted. Offending player not to return until injured player returns This does not replace sin bin or send off. Non offending team is therefore not disadvantaged by a reduced roster Has some merit, but coaches would love it... Refs just gotta bin or send as required...

Unlucky, the team went a bit negative in the 2nd half and tried to defend a lead.
We should have put Foran back on.
Much better effort overall, but need to make smarter decisions.
Katoa at dummy half doesn't offer much treat.

Worst number 7 in the comp. He had a perfect chance at F/G 10 minutes out from right in front and put up a crap bomb. Dragons then scored. Tops it off with a stupid cut out in last minute. Not one run with the ball.

We also needed to throw more at them in attack. First week with a new set up, but put Averillo or Wakeham on the bench instead of Katoa.

Had them on 4th tackle in their own 30m with only 6mins left and then Tolman and a lazy Thompson on the inside open up and allow Clune to sprint away and setup Dufty to equalise. If we dont open up like that, dragons are forced to kick long and we stay in the arm wrestle. Thought we were sitting ducks at 22-22 all with only Lewis or Meaney as the only field goal kickers so would have been tough in golden point but a cruel way to lose.

Not one run with the ball. I thought he did ok certainly in defence. Our kicking game is what skowed the game and got us the lead in the first half. But losing Foran (I knew he wasnt returning) meant we were a genuine playmaker and decision maker short. The wide pass was on especially as we lost 2 tackles from a 7 tackle set on a 6m gain. It's just unfortunate how it ended. It could have just been a knock on but it bloody cane of Montoyas knee and flew into Norman. Anything but that....

Best game from Odgen in a while.
Thompson needs to find a bit of footwork....
The kick Crichton dropped was a turning point, but we went negative before that...
I could see the coaches thinking, I'll keep Foran off and we will defend the lead,,, 9 times out of 10 that works form there..
The silly kick from Lewis where he didn't find touch and Meaney going out on tackle one also cost us..
The team are trying to play more, they just need to be smarter and manage the game..
