Hill is gonna have the critical role in separating the Football Dept from The Board. He's the one that's gonna have to make sure that Ando doesn't ring Barrett whenever he has a stupid idea or none of the politics seeps down.
There was talk of a GM of Football or an old dog assistant to do that job but there's no real need if Hill stands up for it - and he should.

+xAnd I got to say Steve, I don't know where you get your concern about how articulate Barrett is. On NRL360 he spoke directly, honestly, surely, no excessive pauses or um's and ah's, no rising inflections. His mind is screwed directly to his mouth. The link with the article above has the interview if you want to listen to it yourself. Pleased to be able to stand corrected. 100%

West Ham 1 Man U 1 The Hammers can now officially afford to lose the last game, and I hope we do..
My game plan let Villa score in the first 5 mins, the players then discuss hair cuts for the rest of the game...
Players on both teams are 100% on board with this, the Hammer boys have a lot of questions for Jack Grealish.

+x+xJust on foxsports news c h n immeadiate release to canberra pic of him in a green jersy If true... Good riddance... if not ... ahh the prodigal son returns!!!.. +xJust on foxsports news c h n immeadiate release to canberra pic of him in a green jersy If true, CHN is a GRUB. He was the one at fault. He has been given a second opportunity. And is still having a cry? Don’t forget he cost us $2m sponsorship. Of course no one would call him. Plus at the time he got de-registered everyone was at home fearing for their very own future. He is GRUB. I want the board to make him stay, even if it means he sits on the sidelines for 2.5 years. We are always so WEAK.
Honestly another case of losing another star player leave to go another club. Watch him take off.

I think we had to let him go, but I agree with the first part of your comment... Making him sit it out just costs us valuable Salary Cap dollars that we are better of spending elsewhere, Penrith or Canberra wining the comp this year isn't a bad outcome.. While CHN is a good attacking player, I was never that sold on his defence... Now Okunbor is staying, I would try him in the 2nd row.... even off the bench in small bursts.. because he has the size and pace to do damage,,, timing in attack is where he may struggle, and that is the one area why CHN will be hard to replace, his timing and positioning in attack was excellent.. but his attitude sucks...

It's not like we're doing anything this year. If we can get rid of a discontent and get some additional funds for next year (when we'll actually be playing for something) then I'm all for it.

I like Sticky's style... NOT!. The POS whinged, bitched and moaned when we were trying to lure Bateman and yet it's ok for him to poach CHN with 2.5 years left on his contract and mid season to boot. Just shows you what a low pressed pr!ck he really is.

As far as CHN goes, he has nothing to complain about. He knew the Dogs wouldn't tolerate another Coffs Harbour debacle, and put their club rules into position to prevent another media fallout, it's obvious that he thought more about getting his dick wet than the club or his team mates, so let him go and Canberra can put up with his disloyalty.

I'm writing to you this afternoon to update you on the situation with Corey Harawira-Naera and Jayden Okunbor. After discussions with both Jayden and Corey, it has been agreed that Corey will leave the club and Jayden will continue his career here at Belmore. We acknowledge that the original decision to de-register the two players was overturned by the NRL Appeals Committee. This committee, which was headed by a former High Court Judge of Australia, made a ruling that stated that the players’ contracts with our Club were binding and that we are required to uphold these contracts. As such, the club met with both players in regard to resuming their contracts at Belmore. Jayden expressed his desire to remain at Belmore and apologised unreservedly to the club and wider rugby league community for the harm he had caused all parties. He has since undergone counselling as part of his rehabilitation program and has pledged to offer his time to be involved in a full re-integration into the Bulldogs Community program. Corey also apologised for his actions to all parties concerned, however, after further discussion it was felt that in the best interests of both parties that he gets a fresh start away from Belmore. I fully understand that this was a difficult process for all concerned. Whilst we made it clear to both players that what had happened was unacceptable and had caused enormous harm to all involved, our Board and executive team believed that it was important to have open and honest conversations with Corey and Jayden. To their credit, both were extremely contrite and understanding of the harm that they had caused and apologised unreservedly. As a local junior, Jayden has been with the club from U14's all the way through to our NRL squad and I am glad we can offer a second chance to Jayden. He has readily agreed to undergo further educational courses in this area and be a part of a community program on his return to the club. On behalf of the Board and the Executive team, I'd like to thank you, our Members, for the continued support throughout this tough year. On the back of new player signings such as Luke Thompson and Nick Cotric, and the recent announcement of Trent Barrett as our new Head Coach, we are all firmly focused and excited by what lies ahead for our club. Like you, I can't wait to cheer on the boys in Blue and White this weekend against the Knights. Regards, Lynne Chair |

Expecting Baz to learn what it all about being a Bulldog very quickly...
No doubt hack grub germoulists will start the whisper campaign about him - approaching Penrith juniors, a icy relationship with head coach cleary developing, increasingly limited input at Penny's training, some Manly 'insiders' revealing some hotdogs...
Stop the presses you hack grubs!!!... Tomorrows back page just wrote itself on social media again!!!...

Scary stuff seeing Michael Chee-Cam body convulsing on the ground after he got his head in a bad spot making a tackle.
It looked awful. Hope he hasn't done bad damage to his neck
