dman2018 who cares who the media is backing but with this current board it’s toxic why ceo Andrew hill hasn’t been speaking with operations player boss Steve price for a long time ,you tell me this is good prfft unstable & Andrew hill was a ex parramatta ceo a few years back I like 2 you why he left back then maybe google can answer the question I hope sooner than later Lynn can follow Corey out the door & bring on a general vote to see if members want this board or gone my vote is set for them to go & never come back

Tony, again you bring up something nothing to do with it. Either you vote Weinstein or against Weinstein. There's no other option. Clearly you've made your choice to vote Weinstein, so quite frankly, you'd be more helpful to the club if you tore up your membership.

Tony, so you want the Dibbies back in power to finish what they started and destroy the club completely. No need to go all ninja on Lynn Anderson and co, they are still trying to stem the bleeding, repairing the destruction is going to take a little longer. So either be patient dude or maybe another club maybe more to your liking.

As for using the name Bloody Nora, it's a really old saying from the north of England - the same place Rugby League originated. It means Blood & Horror. Spoken similarly to Bloody Hell, as if in response to unbelievable idiocy, a disaster or something similar. Ironically it's never been more appropriate & justified than seeing your latest post. It was originally intended in response to some of the things I was seeing on the field years ago, but your inability to see through that mob & their disruptive influence takes it to another level. Not that you'd know. And how in the world you jumped to the conclusion that Coorey's inappropriate behavior is anything to do with the CEO or Pricey is delusional. I certainly haven't been here to turn you on either. Bloody hell....pfffft back at ya....

With a selfish Lebanese faction deliberately causing more problems than they already have, putting themselves & their ego's first over the club, it's no surprise to anyone. They had their chance. They failed so bad they were voted out & humiliated in a landslide. The new football club board may not be perfect, but they've steered the ship through most of the damage your mob have caused. Finally they're starting to get enough money to get more experienced players again & you want the previous mob back in to make matters even worse. I don't doubt you're a loyal Canterbury fan, but supporting that mob would be like trying to help firemen by rushing in with buckets of petrol.

The best part about it is the players detach themselves from the squabbling behind closed doors & the waffling of media & fans & just focus on their training & doing the best they can on the field. It's not easy with a messed up salary cap & a lot of injuries. They don't have experienced players like Willie Mason & Cooper Cronk out there helping out, so it's been tough. They've gone really close a lot of times this year under difficult circumstances, so that's good at least. Just lacked management at times (most times) mixed with errors & poor execution.

They are too dumb to realise how dumb and clueless they are, and are trying to destroy the club, I'm pissed off as a long time supporter I don't want idiots trashing the joint. Hopefully the majority of members feel the same way, otherwise there is no hope for the club. We need stability, true fans know that.

You nailed it re the new Board not being perfect... but they were left a clusterfvck and for mine have done what they said they would... Most people aren’t pro Lynne, they’re pro club.. and while Lynne and co may not be the long term answer, giving control back to anyone in the slightest way associated with the previous board is a massive mistake...

I don't think this mindless political infighting is helping and Dibb did create a major salary cap mess in conjuction with scouting, juniors and development being turned into a shambles.. A weaker club would have been destroyed.

On the other hand Hill and Ballesty are excellent operators close to the best in the business anyone criticising them has an agenda.

If I have to be critical of this current mob is that they were so intent to not repeat the operational ways of the old mob, that they forgot they had to make things happen from 2021 when they clearly told us we would have our cap back on track. Yet here we are in end of 2020 and the excuse I now hear is that there isnt any talent available to sign for 2021. What have they been doing for the last 3 years? Did they not see this day coming? Theres 2 ways to fekk your salary cap up. I have now seen them both from 2 administrations.

Recruitment and retention has been a mixed bag but the coaches were part of the problem and a low budget never helps. I also think that for 21 we might not be able to get all the players we need. But I'm optimistic we finally have a good coach and the juniors in reasonable shape. Some of our players need to be moved on, others are 50/50 and perhaps Baz can get them on track. Baz has a hard enough job already, silly petty club politics will only make it harder, fans need to be patient. A united club is a strong club going somewhere, a divided rabble ends up being booted from the comp. No 100% guarantee that Baz and this board will turn it around, but it is our best shot, close to our only shot. 5 more years of being a divided rabble we will be the joke of the comp. Yep it is serious, Glebe, Newtown and North Sydney tell you what happens to perpetual strugglers, and neighbouring clubs would like us to fold or be relocated

The last 2 weeks showed us Baz and the players have a lot to work on, they need to focus on footy in a mature, well supported professional environment, not have club personalities throwing toddler tantrums in the media.

This year was unfortunately disrupted by covid and what a lot of people are forgetting is that not having a Canterbury Cup side to keep players fit or to ready players for NRL our rebuild has been somewhat regressed. I know that all clubs are feeling the effect but I think the weaker clubs are affected the most.

Hi all, First post So go easy on me please. I have supported the club as long as I can remember. Growing up in Belmore not far from the ground. I remember the crowds walking past my parents house in blue and white during the 80’s. I have loved the Bulldogs for as long as I can remember. I have seen the highest highs and the lowest lows. As I’m sure most agree the last few years have been very hard.
I was never a Dibb supporter but I was never against him or his board either. I was happy about the Hasler appointment when it happened and was surprised it wasn’t a success. But I, like most, became board with the playing style and wanted a new coach. The new board I also supported and will continue to do so until I can’t see hope in the future.
I am worried about that future now more than ever. I hope the board and Barrett can turn things around. But if there is no change in the next three years is there a better option?
