How come when the greatest player ever to leave the Bulldogs has a 1 out of 10 game no one mentions it??? It would have to be a 1 as there is nothing less. Truly Cook was rank on Saturday...but the only thing we get are snide remarks about Lichaa..

Definitely left his worst game til last....
The opposite if our current hooker...
Nothing snide about that one... ;)

What I found surreal about the match yesterday was during the day I was thinking of the nil all draw at Henson Park in 1982. I remembered sitting in the first row behind the fence around the half way line. Phil Gould was sitting on the bench directly opposite on the shed side. I don't remember much else about that day apart from it was cloudy & just a bit damp. Also Canterbury had 2 wingers on the day that only ever chalked up about 10 first grade appearances for the club between them. I can't remember their names & I doubt anyone could without google. Anyway, I didn't know Gus was going to do the commentary & was even more surprised when he started talking about that match.

Morgan Harper. Not being a regular Reggie watcher I've only seen what I've seen of him on TV once or twice. I just looked up his stats and while missed tackles is a bit of a concern I also know that's probably standard for a 20 year old, mind you 75% efficiency not too shabby really, maybe it's just that he makes a lot of tackles so the raw missed figure looks high but mis-leading? But anyway the line breaks - very impressive.

What I do know though is he has the prototype physique of a modern day center. Big tall and menacing. Hope he has pace too, someone else can tell me that.

But I'm not surprised by his line break stats, he looks like he could break anything including bones without too much effort.

Hope he's a prospect, you can't design a center to look more like a center than him, so kick on lad.

The key point with Harper is he looks ready to play some NRL next year and he looks like he could be a very good NRL centre in 2-3 years time.
I have only seen highlightings of the ISP GF so far, looking forward to viewing a full replay.
The player that most interests me is Woolford, he has been a bit hot and cold and my opinion has fluctuated accordingly.
But the pass was great at at his best he can produce that type of play.
Maybe there is just a bit of learning required, sometimes he seems to try to do too much.

Without wishing to spoil your watching of the game  Woolford was awarded man of match and THAT pass did have Gould reaching for the superlatives. Harper's match winning try is something I am not sure of...was it a brilliant one on one strip or did the Newtown player lose the ball

I have seen the game now, fairly good game from the whole team.
Right edge of Cleeland, Martin, Harper and Bergamin played well, Woolford also good.
More of a team effort, Olive was the only poor player.

The Roosters chairman told The Courier-Mail, a Harvard University degree sealed Cronk's fate to the Bondi club.
“We ticked the boxes in a few areas. It wasn’t all about money,” Politis told The Courier-Mail.
“Cooper is looking to go to Harvard and do an MBA in business administration.
“We’ve got salary-cap approval from the NRL to help him with his education.

1-17 The Rorters
18 Darius Boyd

19 Joey Leilua

20 Matt Gillett (exceedingly overrated...not fit to tie Josh Jackson's shoe laces.... coupled with the idiotic way he chooses to pronounce his name)

He has the talent, quite quick not electric but quick enough.  Defence is usually good but has missed a few more than usual since going to Intrust.  Smooth running style with a nice swerve. Just looks like he has IT.
