I don't think there has been any incorrect decisions except when Kikau ruled to be offside.Penrith too impetuous.Api knocking ball out of Smith's hands with 2 seconds left in half was sign of that. Cleary throwing a pass that was calling to be intercepted. Penrith halves very poor. Luai has not run once.

Truth is, the decisions are pretty much spot-on. Only contentious ones IMO are Kikau's pass into Kaufusi hand called knock on and the leg pull on Brenko Lee which was 6 again for afew seconds and then called penalty under no advantage. The rest are Penrith fekk ups. Penalty try - unfortunate but correct. Mansour try - obstruction with zero doubt Smith try - clearly played at by Api and play-on to Smith

I thought B Smith lost it in the tackle while trying to pass. No offside for mine. In any case, Luai has been taken out of the game in a masterclass by the Storm rushing defence and right edge in particular. Brenko lee has been supreme against Kikau and covering for Jerome Hughes.

They get you into a panic mode then you try things which falls into their play .. A plan b is always required

Odviously try to score but don't force it. The strip from Api was diabolical...

That day, Sisa Waqa rushed on our back pass to Barba and shut it down about 4 times. A couple of bounces of ball against us and it finished us off. Here, the Storm are rushing the Panthers and shutting them down. The inability of Edwards to play 2nd 5/8th or Api to kick well is hindering Penrith from mixing it up. Melb too smart. Always have been.

Best thing about this game is it will erase the grand final loss record which I think we got against the rabbits? Or storm? Or the raiders in 94?

Lucky try. I actually only like the obstruction rule when it actually obstructs the defence - and that play by Yeo did not. But it was technically an obstruction.

That strip by Api for the Cam Smith try and the intercept try were critical.
That's footy, you need to put it together on the day.

Good fightback from Panthers though. Just goes to show that they can score from anywhere. Very clever from Cleary to refuse the goalkick. Cool head on the kid. Will be a top player for many years. What happened to the bubble with the reporters so close to Cleary, JAC etc?
