We need a kicking coach.  The stats, number of kicks and metres gained mean  nothing.  All kicks are high lobs straight  down the  opposition's throat every week.

Flanagan must dropped.
Pure and simple

Ok its official.
I fekking hate this team.

They are braindead. Hetherington gives away an unnecessary penalty for a repeat set. Smith goes close to line and Katoa spends his time playing tunnel ball with Smith rather than concentrate on the next play.

Kaufusi sees this and dives from dummy half for the first try.

You cannot script the stupidity of this team.

Not withstanding Smith walks way past the mark and takes defenders out of play.

I am nervous every time DWZ has the ball. Any explosive effort he offers is always undermined by the potential of a dropped an ball or loose carry.  Deja vu here I feel

I honestly think the ref shouldnt say anything other than IN.

It should be the halfback responsibility to call it out and they can remain binded until it's well and truly out.

Yep. Flannos poor kicking over the last 4 games cannot be defended or tolerated anymore.

If Lewis is available he should come straight in. If not, Wakeham should.

It gives the ref a role other than adjudication. That wasn't  the  problem this time. I just like forwards  to be forwards  and backs to be backs

Question is Barrett a good defensive coach . He needs to take a good look at it . Team needs to be drilled about fighting for that line .

He didnt have it iced so hopefully it's not as bad and they took him off for precautionary reasons.

He, along with Elliott, Avo, Topine and maybe DWZ were our better players.

We looked so so much better with Topine at hooker rather than Katoa. Katoa spent more time looking at the next forward he was going to pass to while the ball would hit his boot.

Jackson Topine...... this kid has a huge future!

The team played 100% better once he came on.

I’ll say it again..... Napa, Hoppa, Waddell & Kotoa offer the team anything.....zilch!!!

Why did it take 55-60mins before Renouf came on?

The attack was good when Averillo got more involved.
When it goes Flanagans way we looked lost.
When DWZ and Thompson got fired up we looked good and dragged some players along and gave Avo a kickstart.
Flanagan seemed lost.

He doesn't have a reputation as a defensive coach, the results this season speak for themselves.

You will find very few coaches who can't set a high standard in defence last long.

Baz would have a defensive coach, we need to look at why the tries were scored and who was responsible.

One issue with DWZ at fullback is getting to kicks, positional play and speed. That may have been a factor for one try.

We could try Averillo at fullback with Wakeham and Lewis in the halves.
Start Topine at hooker, play Flanagan off the bench, with Wakeham filling in a hooker.

Topine is the only player at the club I would trust to play 80 mins at hooker.

I agree with Hoppa and Napa but Kotoa tries harder than them.
Waddell was ok, he would be a great edge runner with better service, it is always sideways when it comes that way.
In fact both ways.
Topine will be a STAR.
Renouf should have been there much ealier.

Topi e should be hooker if JMK isn’t available. Flanno and Avo need to stay in the halves as long as they are fit. Happy with Lewis or Wakeham off the bench. We don’t need to blame the backs when the forwards are clearly the problem.

Thompson needs to start. And we need to buy more props and a hooker. Nothing else will help

Wrong.
Those guys were too smart.
Flanno is robotic. It's a shame because he looked good in game 1 against the Knights, but is well down on confidence.

He needs to be dropped and can try to force his way back into first grade if he can control a game with attacking kicks.

Topine definitely looks promising and having a go ,showing enthusiasm. I would persist with him. It is probably a overwhelming for Flanno the Moment.  He did not have this pressure on him at the chooks . Needs to take the scruff by the neck a go for it .

I really like Topine's variability at hooker.
Not as explosive out of dummy half like Dietz but certainly shifts from the ruck very well and looks full of energy which is infectious to players around him. He should be getting min 60mins at hooker.

I think Averillo did enough to keep the pivot spot so it should just be Lewis or Wakeham in for Flanagan. I'd keep DWZ at fullback.

Mu concern is Cotric who will probably kill his career at the Dogs. Pedestrian defence last 2 games and impotent attack. He's gone backwards.
