In the meantime the Roosters are offloading Dylan Napa at $1.50 and looking to sign Marty Taupau (according to rumours), the reason these rumours are believable is they have form.

I didn't forget the young Sharks guy, just forgot his name. I thought he might be too young for NRL for now.
I did forgot the Tigers prop altogether, but I think he's a good signing along with CHN to add something to the bench that a few others weren't able to.
Still a lot of spaces on the right side of the ledger, so maybe they're not done with recruitment just yet.

Are you sure Francis Taulau is off this year? He wasn’t handed a jersey as per the club website footage put out today....

Someone said a while ago that Francis T was leaving after this season.
Just checked Fox sports, they have him & Priest still at the club for next season.
Now I'm not sure about either.

I reckon Francis T has more to offer than say Danny Fualalo

He went alright over the last week or 2, Francis T. He struggled at NRL level. Still very young compared to most.

Just looking at the contracts on Fox sports, they still have Lewis as "off contract" & they've got Rhyse Martin as signed for next year AND off contract, so I'm not confident in their info on those other 2 forwards. If Francis T had a good offer the club might've released him earlier this year, otherwise one season to go if Fox is correct. I thought Priest was only signed for 2018, says 2019 on there, so I don't know for sure. Another one is they have Woods still signed until 2021.

Beastie seems very popular with the young guys, goes OK in reserve grade, nice bloke, I would keep him on a 2nd tier contract and pay 500K per year for him to pick up glasses at the leagues club ... No one is going to not hand their glass over, glasses are expensive.

What I'd like to know is will the NRL scrutinise the Roosters and their doctors for allowing Cooper Cronk to play that GF and risk permanent damage on a known bad injury?

Or do we wait afew months to find out Crobk cant lift up his new born with his left hand?

This was akin to sending a concussed player onto the field. Where was the duty of care?

On another note.....in all post GF interviews Cronk kept making reference to all his teammates doing something for him to be at the club.

Last I heard Tualau was staying. A big no to Eastwood . Too many young forwards deserve a go.  Sentiment doesn't win you games. If he wanted to play reserves only on a small contract, fair enough but I don't think he would want to do that.

on segeyaro the bulldogs are still in talks with him BUT out of the blue yonder NEWCASTLE have made a massive play for him as the wanted Izaak like but due 2 his shoulder injury they decided not 2 go down that road & @ 31 luke just signed a 1 year ex tention with N Zealand warriors so the money newcastle have offered segyi we wont mach it

There's a rumour that was floating around Twitter for awhile, had a head of steam there for a bit, not so much lately, that we were making a play for Manu and Easts were prepared to release him because they have to release somebody.

Don't know if it's still a thing, can't say with any certainty that it ever was. But it was red hot for a while there.
