+x+x+x+xCronulla have confirmed signing Tolman. Just a wild hunch - someone on here might be happy about that. Yeah Marki is going to become a Sharks supporter.😁 I expect Tols to play differently, our coaches are partially to blame. No way he’ll stop supporting the Rorters... I dont support the Roosters. I admire them. It's like the 7 deadly sins. Envy. With the bathroom door closed.

Bloody hell.... that Josh Aloai fiasco took a major turn last night with the player giving the Tigers the finger with his Facebook/Instagram post.

+xBloody hell.... that Josh Aloai fiasco took a major turn last night with the player giving the Tigers the finger with his Facebook/Instagram post. NRL should enforce contracts by allowing a player to be stood down on full pay, but 75% cap space freed up for this kind of dispute. Players sitting out seasons on no more money will ensure player managers understand the value of a contract.

The NRL just wants the best players playing to sell the product. So they wouldn’t want to stand down good players

His manager gets in his ear & says Fwit Dessy wants you from 2021 & offer is $500k a season for 3yrs.
If Tigers do release him, then the NRL must make sure that he won’t get a cent more in 2021 at Manly than the $250k.
Surely that’s one way of stopping these Fwit player managers instigating these player/club issues.

So they wouldn’t want to stand down good players I know, but they only need to do this once or twice, for player managers to get the message. This particular player is not exceptional. And my main argument is - Who wouldn't want to shaft Des and Manly?

NRL not to register any new contract until after expiry date of breached contract. Only need to happen once

Vlandy’s mentioned the other day The NRL are gonna look at a rule that a club can not offer more to a player than what’s on the existing contract to move clubs. Of course if there’s a year to run on the existing contract the club matches that year (under that rule) and another two on top of that at an increased rate.
But it is a start, and Vlandy’s being a can do man I expect it will be in effect real soon.

How NRL V’lan the Man’s impact on NRL can’t be denied...All of Australian sport should thank him for his dog with a bone attitude during the pandemic...
was it you that was anti Vlan the Man from the beginning based on upsetting a few smaller racing clubs as he revolutionised the NSW racing industry???.., (apologies if I have this wrong)...
Vlan is so far removed from anything TTT, chestBeattie, Donkey or ‘how NRL’ like its not funny...
This issue is not as simple to solve as many here would like to think it; simply implement this rule or that... In fact it’is an industrial relations nightmare... Any positive step is a first step in the right direction...
Vlan Vlan he’s our man if he can’t do it no one can...
The other side of this coin is clubs are happy to ‘tap a player on the shoulder’ and threaten year/s in reserve grade or Ron Massey if they don’t find another club... I think one of the keys to resolving this matter is better rewarding clubs and players for loyalty via better cap exemptions than currently exist...

It hurts the player as they lose match fitness and hurts the receiving club as they get a player who hasn't played footy for some time

+xMunster... bloody Munster... So far the best player in each side going off with HIA has been the difference. NSW need to stand a bit deeper in attack, when the defence is rushing give them further to run. Flat and fast only off a quick play the ball. I also think that Munster duffed the first kick but good players take opportunities. Some about kuck instead of kick, slipped into my kiwi accent.

Grant also I good.
I remember wanting to sign Grant for big money in 2019, but Dman thought he was a dud. The fact that he easily beats Villi in supercoach is puzzling 🤔

After Tedesco got knocked out.... then Arrow went on with it, why didn’t any NSW player run in and belt the fwit?
NSW defensive line speed is almost Bulldogs like tonight....

We need to go back to Quayle to find a possibly better better option. So irpt isn't perhaps that Van is great, just that the others doing the job in recent times were pathetic.
