Some of the posession is coming from effort.

Restarts are killing us,

We need to get smarter. Some you could see were obvious, insignificant,  stupid and non tactical.

I will be glad not to see Hoppa there next year. I didn't see the first half but the second half was total sh!t. We got fvck all possession, we had fvck all field position, we couldn't buy a 6 again, every 50/50 call went the eels way we were down to 12 men at one point and lady luck turned her back on us. I guess you have those days but we seem to get our share any every other cvnts share too. 38 -10 wasn't a good indication of the difference between us and them really they just got super lucky.

I am not sure why Waddell is in the side.

The game mostly swung on posession...

Good first half but we didn't fire at the start of the 2nd half.

We need RFM and Okunbor to give the side a bit of attacking punch.

The effort was good ,but against the better sides we need more.

Like Newcastle,  Parra get a lot of calls at home. 

Tend to agree ODF, just a few dumb errors by us.

But lots of 50/50s went against us, tne team got tired and sloppy in the last 10-15 mins.

For the play where it went wrong, Averillo intended to pass to Wakeham, but Napa got in the way. All 3 players to bla me, but Averillo should have dummied a run, and handover was a better result than conceeding a try.

I don't blame players for thst.

I wonder who missed Lane, that was a important part of the game.

The worst part is…. Elliott out for a while with a fractured cheekbone will see this useless hack Waddell get another shot at redemption along with another plodder in Stimpson

Katoa going off HIA seem to disorganize us?

Young halves can get distracted.

Your absolutely correct there mate they got very lucky with that penalty try.  They were starting to rattle and if we got the next try at 10-6 would had been a different story .But hopefully the boys bounce back will not get any easier next few weeks .

I love Avo, but for a halfback to throw the ball at a prop instead of kicking because he got nervous is pathetic. He was terrible today. Wakeham was worse and Meany was worse again. Our spine were just not even in it. 

No game next week I don’t think

Napa was not to blame. Wakeham stood in his direct line. That is the halves responsibility to be in the right position. He should have been yelling at Bapa to get out of the way but was having a break himself. Avo holds the most blame for the pass. It didn’t need to be thrown and he threw it at Napa. 

And thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for Guinness. I need a thousand of them. 

All I'm  saying is stupidity contributed.  The inside 10 restarts I can't  comment on as you can't  see them on TV.  Anyhow I wasn't  whingeing  last week when G Sutton, of all people, awarded us the best of everything 

2 of the top 5 tryscores coming to us next year.  Wouldn't  be up there in this team. Having said that the suggested replacements weren't  that flash in NSW Cup.  

I’m not suggesting that those replacements are better. Just that Avo, Wakes and Meany were that bad that they have to be dropped. 

I am really proud of T Baz's presser. He indicated without actually saying that the cvnt with the whistle was the difference between the two teams this afternoon.

We made some dumb errors, but the refs decisions in tbe 2nd half also contributed.

Meaney wasn't that good today,  but he is our best fullback option for this season.

Averillo and Wakeham are the best halves, they both had a good first half.

The one stuff up was bad but you don't drop players for an inferior option after one mistake.

Averillo is far and away our best player,  he iis a class above most of the team.

Sometimes young players make mistakes, the play was prearranged and they didn't expect Napa to be there. He should have been further forward so Averillo could passed behind him.

I am not sure what that play was about, but Napa was unfortunately in the way.

It is just one game. Overall the team is improving, but we lack a bit of punch in attack.
No question in my mind Antoni should be in the side, Topine might have kept the defence tight in the 2nd half.

Hoppa, Wardell and Katoa currently are not NRL standard in attack or defence.

I am with you 100% ODF, we got none of the 50/50s, they got some very dubious decisions.
A clear penalty and an odvious 10 in the bin on Katoa was ignored.
It wasn't just one call there were plenty.

We still didn't play that well in the end, I'm not 100% sure the ref changed the outcome of the game. I am sure a run of decisions in the the 2nd half more or less gave us no chance.

That is why defence is important inspite of everything if we stop the Lane try we are well in the game. The miss for the RCG try was poor.

Defend those tries and maybe the refs calls don't matter.

I would sign Shaun Johnson for the right price, our team would benefit from having a more experienced half in the squad.

Allan should replace Hoppa, mainly to improve the defence but also to add a some attacking smarts.

That’s rubbish mate. Avo passed because he was worried about the defence coming through. It wasn’t a pre arranged play. If it was Wakes wouldn’t happen s had hands on hips and would have been looking at Avo.
